OneOff was originally created in 2001 by the owner of a Cuban cigar shop in Milan, Italy name Andrea Molinari. Molinari wanted to blend his own Cuban cigar but was denied the tobacco. He instead sourced tobaccos from Central America, and distributed the resulting, mystique shrouded, cigar to an extremely limited number of special customers in Europe and Asia. Many years later, Dion Giolito of Illusione Cigars has acquired the once inaccessible brand and released it worldwide. +53 refers to the phone country code of Cuba, and the OneOff +53 is a tweaked version of the standard OneOff. This is a medium-full blend with in-your-face flavors.
OneOff +53 Super Robusto is #23 on Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25 Cigars of 2018.

Expensive, yes but do yourself a favor and grab a couple for special occasions. I don’t believe I’ve ever had such a smooth, creamy cigar before. Coffee latte, Carmel, vanilla, cashew, roasted peanut and a sweet spice note delight the tongue and nose! Perfect draw, perfect burn and tons of smoke output. Burned nice and cool throughout and I admit I do tend to smoke fast and consequently end up with hot bitterness at the end but this one stayed cool, bitter-free to the nub.
