Available as singles and 5pks with a bonus mystery cigar!
aka The Yellow Rose of Texas
Origin: 1 year aged tobacco from Aganorsa.
Nose: Baked breads, sweet cream, slight hint of pepper on the foot.
Cold Draw: Dried herbs, hint of pepper, cedar and hay.
1st Third: The Texas Rose begins with delicious notes of cream, bread crusts, white pepper,
and soft cedar on the palate. As it burns, the pepper note is slightly amplified in the retrohale,
and notes of baking spices and coffee begin to emerge from the velvety smoke.
2nd Third: As you enter the 2nd third, the pepper subsides and makes way for the cedar to
take center stage. Creamy semi-sweet milk chocolate and buttered bread notes begin to join
in as well. The body and strength remain at a pleasant Medium/Medium + range, and the
smoke texture is still velvety smooth.
Final Third: In the final third, we are given a wonderful finale of flavor! The previous notes
of cream and baked breads are met with notes of espresso, along with a touch of that peppery
note we experienced earlier. Charred cedar and roasted nuts enter as well, as this cigar
begins to really crescendo in its final moments.
Pairing Suggestions: Coffee with lite cream or earl grey tea. For the more adventurous palate,
try with a spicy bloody mary or screwdriver!
This cigar has enough complexity and nuance that it can take you on a nice journey any time of the
day. We hope you sit back and enjoy the Texas Rose from the Lone Star Herf Crew.
