The first third opens with lots of spice notes, the ones I picked out are black pepper and cinnamon. On the finish I’m getting a bready note which develops into a biscuit flavour.
10 minutes in and the flavours are very creamy. The spice has disappeared and I’m left with caramel and cream. The creaminess quickly developed into a milk chocolate taste. This is all in the 1st third!
The 2nd third sees the milk chocolate replaced by a roast coffee, the caramel notes are still there. The smoke is very creamy. The burn is perfect as is the draw.
The final third still has the roast coffee notes but I’m getting fleeting notes of mint in the background.
A great cigar. The San lotano is now my favourite line of cigars. A must try.
