Description
Tasting Notes: On the body, I get rawhide, saddle leather, peach, and standard barnyard. The foot is vanilla and chocolate. The cold draw is chocolate syrup, black pepper, sweet soy, vegetal, something that reminds me of seaweed flavor. The first puffs reveal black soy sauce, black pepper, molasses, florals, and candied orange. The retro is black pepper, candied fruits, leather, and dried florals. Holy cow! Further down I get chocolate and apricot. Midway I still get chocolate, only now I fully get candied orange and some notes of malt and toast. At this point, the retro is red pepper. Toasted nuts, toasted cereal enter the equation en route to the final third. In the final third, I get reminded of black coffee with a lot of sugar. I also get red pepper on the retro still. When concentrating I taste florals and herbs. Then, something happens. I taste something I have not tasted in quite a while. Sour candy. It’s a hint of sour Sprees. Sweet and sour, red pepper, dark dried cherries, tartness, and florals along with some dried herbs and oak finish out this absolute masterpiece.
Pairing Notes: Black coffee with sugar. Cafecito. Espresso. Coffee candies or coffee ice cream. Whipped cream. Bananas foster or pan-seared ripened bananas. After a Spanish meal of rice and beans. With whiskey of any kind. Candied oranges. Dried fruits. Sweet tea.

The 1st third opens with a bite of black pepper and chilli heat at the back of my throat. The draw flavour is a deep black coffee.
10 minutes in and the spice has died right down. The black coffee notes have transitioned into more of a cream coffee that’s accompanied by a sweetness in the wrapper.
The 2nd third sees the coffee drop to the background and a bakers chocolate note has come in.
The final third has an oak note, the black pepper has returned accompanied by woody notes. The finish has become very earthy.
A really enjoyable smoke.

Delicious. Perfect burn. Reminds me of something James brown cigars would blend.
