The story behind Altezas Reales 1871.  In 1871, my great-grandfather embarked on a journey from our native home, Asturias (Bergantin Habana) Spain, and traveled across the Atlantic in the search for greatness. Five generations later, myself and my family has lived by one purpose, excellence in premium cigar-making, care for the tobacco leaf, and respect for all those involved.

These cigars proudly carry the distinguished name of Altezas Reales, which translates to “Royal Highness.” Our Cigar Brand, Altezas Reales, traces its roots back to the era when my great-grandfather introduced his own name brand, just like many other renowned manufacturers do today.

It was during this time that he unveiled a unique vitola/shape known as Altezas Reales, setting himself apart as a pioneer in the industry. His creation was none other than what’s known today as the Salomon Vitola, forever cherished by experienced connoisseurs and to us as Altezas Reales.

We have crafted unique distinct blends with characteristics unlike any cigars available today. This family tradition spans centuries and is a legacy that embraces exceptional cigars, achieved by meticulous tobacco selection, expert cigar-making, 100% artisanal practices and respect for all those involved in our pursuit of producing a beautifully made cigar.
