Le Bijou means “the jewel” in French and 1922 is the year Don Pepin’s father was born.  This is a Nicaraguan Puro that utilizes the pelo de oro leaf, one of the rarest and most difficult to grow (but also one of the most flavorful) tobacco leaves.  There’s cream, sweet earth, spice, leather, cocoa…an explosion of flavors start to finish.
