Fillers: Dominican
Body: Beautifully oily wrapper with distinct notes of apricot jam, creating a fruity and inviting introduction.
Foot: The aroma of apricot jam is complemented by a subtle hint of medium roast coffee, hinting at a layered experience.
Cold Draw: Dried apricot blends with honey, sweet cream, and a dash of black pepper for a complex prelude.
Tasting Notes: The apricot note from the cold draw continues, now sweet and pie-like. The smoke is creamy, with a near-perfect draw. Flavors of dried apricot, light black pepper, cedar, dried fruits, and a touch of cinnamon create a luxurious experience. The tongue tingles with creamy, whipped smoke. The Dominican Republic’s cigar heritage shines through, with a profile rich in woods, exotic herbs, and spices. The experience becomes smooth, creamy, and rich, with an IPA-like bite. New flavors emerge: black coffee, roasted nuts, fresh apricot, cinnamon, white pepper, and creamy smoke.
The retrohale is full of baker’s spices, cedar, and dried fruits. The evolving complexity is a testament to the blender’s skill. Wood notes turn to oak, white pepper transforms into a fruity zing with a cinnamon finish. Dominant flavors now include woods, dried fruits, and cinnamon. The apricot note, reminiscent of Cuban cigars, persists. The retrohale combines white pepper, sweet woods, and apricot, rounded off with creamy, rich smoke and a baker’s spice finish.
Pairing Notes: A rich, oaky bourbon, honeyed desserts, a robust, medium roast coffee, fresh apricot or apricot jam, a spiced IPA to match the cigar’s unique IPA-like bite and spice blend.

Incredible cigar: flawless construction and burn with delicious sweet floral notes and creaminess. This one came as part of a January ’24 Rare club. I ordered more as soon as I smoked it.
