Foundation’s Charter Oak features tobaccos grown in the Connecticut River Valley of Nick Melillo’s home state. The name pays respect to a historically significant tree near which Native Americans would congregate and grow tobacco of their own.  Additionally, this cigar is used to honor Melillo’s grandfather who loved Connecticut tobaccos.  The cigar also features Nicaraguan tobaccos.  The smoke is rich and medium-bodied and carries notes of cocoa, dark sweetness, and baked breads.
