The Wise Man Maduro is an extension to the El Güegüense line by Foundation. The Wise Man Maduro uses the same blend as the original but wrapped in a Mexican San Andres leaf instead of a Corojo 99. The difference between these 2 cigars is stunning. This full-bodied sweet and spicy cigar carries notes of dark chocolate, roasted nuts, espresso, leather, and cracked black pepper in an explosion of flavors.

The first third starts off like a spice bomb. I get a lot of black pepper and a spiciness at the back of my throat, its like a cayenne pepper.
10 minutes in and the spice has disappeared. I’m left with notes of earth and cream coffee.
The 2nd third has lots of chocolate flavour coming through. It’s a dark chocolate that is accompanied by a black roast coffee.
The final third was quite creamy, it kept the chocolate right up to the end.
