Drew Estate is commemorating ten years of Undercrown with the global release of Undercrown 10, a bold new ultra-premium addition to Undercrown’s current premium lineup of Maduro, Shade, and Sun Grown expressions. Willy Herrera, Drew Estate’s master blender, described the flavor profile as being like Mexican hot chocolate, saying it offers richness, sweetness, and spiciness.

The 1st third starts off with a mild chocolate and bread note. On the retro I get cinnamon spice and the finish leaves a salty taste on my lips.
The smoke is silky smooth.
10 minutes 8n and the chocolate has come to the forefront and its a milk chocolate. An earth note has crept in and is more potent on the retro.
The 2nd third continues with chocolate and earth and a coffee note comes in with a fruity plum.
The final 3rd sees the chocolate develop into a dark chocolate. I’m also getting a leather.
