Description
Dion Giolito, founder of Illusione, is a perfectionist. It took him six months of work to craft this blend. Once he was satisfied with the blend, he then made the cigars and let them sit another 6 months. And of course the Privada movement has grown quite a bit since then… I wanted to have enough for the ENTIRE club, but now I can’t so I’m going to put them up on the shop. Get ready, my friends. Anything created by Dion is a masterpiece. He is known by anyone whose opinion is worth a damn as the best American master blender working today. Hands down. Apparently, he can smoke a cigar and tell you not only where the tobaccos come from but what part of the plant they come from! What region. What country. In some cases who grew it. This is the kind of person Dion is. This is the kind of brand Illusione is. I have never had a bad Illusione. Yet they don’t get the hype of much lesser brands. It’s odd and interest- ing. None the less, as a Privada member, you know. It’s about the experience, not about the hype. That’s all that matters. #weareprivada This cigar comes from Aganorsa. However, it might not taste exactly like other Aganorsa cigars you have had. This is the work of a master blender. Based out of a big shop in Reno, the brand has become legendary with those in-the-know. Fun fact: Dion and Pete from Tatuaje are close friends. So close that Dion vouched to never make a broad leaf cigar because that is what Tatuaje got famous on. Crazy! This is a Nicaraguan Puro, all from the Agan- orsa farms and mostly Corojo. Enjoy!

Very unique cigar, first one I’ve gotten apple from. Definitely some cinnamon spice and creamy smoke.
Perfect draw. Almost silky wrapper to the touch.
Not something I would have in my primary lineup but definitely a good cigar to have from time to time with dessert.

The first one I had, the draw was a touch snug, but smoke output was excellent. The flavors I got were really good: Apples, baking spices, toasted bread, and a woody note that was darker than cedar. Retrohale was cinnamon and pepper. Great stick!
