Tatuaje Fausto Size: Short Robusto- 4 1/2×52 Toro- 6×50Vitola: ParejoWrapper: Ecuadorian Habano Maduro (Oscuro used on FT110 and FT187)Binder: NicaraguanFillers: Nicaraguan ligero (Estelí and Jalapa)Flavor Notes: Black pepper, earth, dark chocolate, espresso, leather, charred meat, cedar, toasted nuts, molassesPairing Notes: Black coffee, barrel-aged rum, stout beer, charred steak, dark chocolateManufacturer: My Father Cigars S.A. (Estelí, Nicaragua) Privada Storytelling Tatuaje Fausto was born out of the original T110—Pete Johnson's thermonuclear test blend that put strength at the forefront of cigar innovation. With Fausto, he bottled that ferocity and refined it into a regular production line under the guidance of Pepín García. It’s bold, unapologetic, and not for the faint of palate. In Privada, it represents the kind of intensity that rewards intention—the moments when you're seeking more than flavor. You're seeking force. And Fausto brings it. Flavor Journey First third: Opens with a rush of black pepper and espresso over dense Nicaraguan earth. Dark chocolate and charred wood hover just beneath.Mid-smoke: Spice tames slightly, revealing toasted nuts, cedar, and a molasses-like sweetness under the surface.Final third: Espresso re-emerges with leather and dark cocoa dominating. A smoky, oily finish completes the heavy ride. Why It Belongs in Privada Fausto isn’t just strong—it’s structured. It showcases what happens when power is guided by pedigree. My Father’s meticulous craftsmanship fuses with Pete Johnson’s obsession with depth and danger, creating a cigar that can’t be ignored. It’s a reminder that some stories aren’t told—they’re roared.

Tatuaje Reserva Broadleaf Size: Robusto (5⅛″ × 50), Toro (6⅛″ × 52), Belicoso (5″ × 54), other limited production vitolasVitola: Parejo and FiguradoWrapper: Connecticut Broadleaf MaduroBinder: NicaraguanFillers: Nicaraguan (Garcia-grown, Estelí and Jalapa)Flavor Notes: Dark chocolate, earth, espresso, leather, black pepper, sweet wood, toasted almond, molassesPairing Notes: Barrel-aged bourbon, black coffee, chocolate stout, molasses cake, toasted rye whiskeyManufacturer: My Father Cigars S.A. (Estelí, Nicaragua, for Tatuaje Cigars by Pete Johnson) Privada Storytelling The Tatuaje Reserva Broadleaf isn’t just a cigar—it’s a cult relic. This is Pete Johnson and the Garcia family at their absolute best, working with a notoriously difficult leaf and turning it into a benchmark for boutique maduro excellence. Originally released in highly limited quantities, the Reserva Broadleaf became legend almost overnight. Its thick, rugged wrapper delivers a flavor profile that’s rich, earthy, and unapologetically bold, yet somehow still elegant. This cigar feels like it was made for nightfall. Like leather jackets, vinyl records, and secrets shared under low light. For Privada, this is the Broadleaf that helped define an era. Flavor Journey First third: Kicks off with earth, dark chocolate, and black pepper. Espresso bitterness and sweet wood begin to develop early. Mid-smoke: A creamy leather texture forms around notes of toasted almond, molasses, and smoky cedar. Retrohale brings a warming spice. Final third: Intensifies with espresso and charred oak. The finish is rich and mouth-coating, blending pepper, cocoa, and a savory umami edge. Why It Belongs in Privada The Reserva Broadleaf is a rite of passage. It’s not mass-produced. It’s not easy to find. And it doesn’t try to please everyone. That’s exactly why it belongs here. Privada exists for cigars like this—those that combine rarity, craftsmanship, and unmistakable character. It’s a cigar you wait for, chase down, and never forget. And when you smoke it, you’re not just enjoying a cigar. You’re joining a lineage of collectors and connoisseurs who know exactly what this moment means.

Size: 4 3/8x52Vitola: Short Robusto (T110)Wrapper: Ecuadorian CorojoBinder: NicaraguanFillers: Nicaraguan long-fillersFlavor Notes: Bursting red pepper spice, cedar, leather, and earth right from the start. Cocoa and roasted nuts develop mid-smoke, with touches of citrus peel and a natural sweetness that balances the strength. The finish is long and bold, leaving waves of spice and cream.Pairing Notes: Best paired with high-rye bourbon, spiced rum, or a bold IPA. For something softer, try it with café con leche in the afternoon.Manufacturer: My Father Cigars, Estelí, Nicaragua (for Tatuaje) Privada Storytelling Few cigars in the modern boutique era have the mythos of the T110. Originally released in Hawaii as a test blend (“T” for test, “110” for the millimeter length of the cigar), it was made to be unapologetically strong—a firecracker in a small format. Collectors chased it. Whispers spread. The T110 became legend. The Corojo version takes that power and wraps it in an Ecuadorian Corojo leaf, adding another dimension of spice and tradition. Rolled at My Father in Estelí, it’s a blend that bridges Pete Johnson’s fearless creativity with the Garcia family’s legendary craftsmanship. Smoking it is like revisiting the early days of Tatuaje, when limited runs and cult status were the order of the day. Flavor Journey The cigar lights up with red pepper and earth, unmistakably Corojo-driven. Within the first inch, cedar and leather join the mix, while roasted nuts and cocoa emerge as it burns steady. Midway, the blend shows finesse: subtle citrus zest, hints of sweetness, and waves of cream soften the edges of its bold core. The finish is classic Tatuaje—spice-forward, earthy, and endlessly satisfying. Why It Belongs in Privada The T110 is not just a cigar; it’s a piece of boutique history. Revived in limited production, the Corojo wrapper elevates the cult classic into something even more collectible. Privada members demand access to the rare, the whispered-about, the cigars that others can only dream of finding. The T110 Corojo is exactly that—a powerful story, a short vitola that punches above its weight, and a legacy piece for any serious collector. Production Notes Originally a “test blend” that grew into legend Rolled at My Father Cigars in Estelí, Nicaragua Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper over Nicaraguan core Short robusto format concentrates flavor and power Revived in limited releases after years of being unobtainable Highlights Cult-classic Tatuaje release, born as a secret “test” blend Bold, compact short robusto format Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper for spice and depth Collaboration between Pete Johnson and the Garcia family Highly collectible cigar with modern cult status

The 200 Aged 6+ Years Size: 6×50Vitola: ToroWrapper: SumatraBinder: HabanoFillers: Dominican, Nicaraguan, HonduranFlavor Notes: Peat, aged oak, cinnamon, dried fruits, floral cream, citrus, powdered sugarPairing Notes: Orange Ceylon tea, black tea with cream and honey, Scotch whisky (peated or Highland), vanilla custard, dried orange slices, Blue Moon with orange, dried fruitsManufacturer: Originally produced by Joya de Nicaragua Privada Storytelling Some cigars demand patience, and The 200 is one of them. Produced over six years ago by Joya de Nicaragua for a well-known figure whose name remains confidential, this cigar’s story is as much about time as it is about tobacco. Initially stored in a Naples, Florida warehouse for three years before finding their way to Privada, these cigars weren’t an immediate hit. In fact, they sat untouched for another two and a half years—until a quiet Saturday morning revealed just how magical proper aging can be. When the coolers were opened, the unmistakable scent of peat rose like smoke from an Islay scotch, a revelation of what six years had done. What began as a cigar of promise had transformed into a masterpiece of balance and depth, reminding us why we chase age and why Privada exists: to unlock experiences others overlook. This is not just a cigar—it’s an evolution, proof that patience and faith in the leaf always pays off. Flavor Journey First Third: Opens with aged oak, moss, peat, and citrus, rounded by cream and black tea. Quickly evolves into powdered sugar, dried fruit, and soft florals. A sensation like thick French toast with cinnamon syrup emerges, sweet yet earthy, with velvety smoke. Second Third: The wood sharpens into aged cedar, the cinnamon lingers with warmth, and baked apple flavors appear. Creamy and balanced, the cigar hums with a harmony only professional aging can create. Final Third: Aged wood, baked fruit, and cinnamon dominate the finish. Creamy smoke softens into refinement, while the retrohale delivers oak, white pepper, florals, and a bouquet of truly matured tobaccos. This is age at its pinnacle. Why It Belongs in Privada The 200 is an example of why Privada exists—to discover, to wait, and to share cigars others might dismiss. What was once passed over has now become an exquisite demonstration of the Privada method of aging. It embodies the spirit of experimentation, the chase for balance, and the reward of patience. For members, this is more than a cigar: it’s a reminder that some of the best things come to those who wait.

Partnering with La Aurora’s master blender Manuel Inoa, Hamlin channeled his on-the-field presence into The Arrival: a cigar designed to make an entrance. The name reflects both his personal motto and the deliberate impact this blend makes on the palate. It’s a declaration in tobacco form—bold, confident, and meticulously crafted to play its role. Flavor Journey First third: Solid coffee and cedar entry with layers of dark chocolate and leather—medium-bodied with instant presence Mid-smoke: Espresso notes deepen, with warming spice and rich tobacco sweetness emerging .Final third: Pepper resurfaces, rounding out the blend with a punch of coffee, wood, and smooth finish . Why It Belongs in Privada This isn’t a celebrity label—it’s a crafted experience. The Arrival balances showmanship with substance. It respects tobacco heritage while staking its own ground—ideal for those moments when presence matters. Privada recognizes strength rooted in intention, and this cigar delivers exactly that.

The Ascent is built around one of the most distinctive tobaccos in the world: Peruvian Pelo de Oro. A leaf known for its richness, intensity, and unpredictability. It is not easy to work with, and that is exactly the point. This is a blend designed with intention. Nothing rushed. Nothing forced. The Ecuadorian Habano wrapper sets the tone with structure and spice, while the Dominican core keeps the cigar balanced and controlled as it builds. The Pelo de Oro sits at the center, adding depth and a character that cannot be replicated. This is not a cigar that gives everything up front. It climbs. Each draw moves forward. Each transition earns its place. Produced in limited quantities, this release stands on its own. Once it is gone, it does not come back in the same form. Flavor Journey The opening begins with warm spice and structured earth, establishing a steady foundation. As the cigar develops, toasted cedar and roasted nuts begin to layer into the profile, bringing texture and depth. Midway through, dark cocoa and natural sweetness emerge, carried by the Peruvian Pelo de Oro. The cigar continues to build without rushing, maintaining balance while increasing in intensity. The final third reaches full expression, delivering richness and structure with a long, confident finish. Why It Belongs in Privada Because this is a cigar built around a rare leaf and a clear purpose. Pelo de Oro is not used casually. It requires control, patience, and experience. The Ascent takes that challenge and turns it into a focused, evolving smoking experience that rewards attention. Limited. Intentional. Built to be earned. Production Notes Crafted in limited quantities using Peruvian Pelo de Oro as the core of the blend. Supported by Dominican fillers and finished with an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. Crafted as a 5.5×60 Habano Maduro and aged for three years, it embodies patience and precision. Its broad, sun-rich leaves were cultivated for depth and darkness, while the blend emphasizes volado and seco for refinement over raw strength. Where others lean on brute force, Hydrar speaks through elegance and restraint. Its complexity is revealed slowly, layer after layer, making it the most sophisticated and intricate of all Subterraneo blends. Like the animal it’s named after, The Badger commands respect not through aggression, but through quiet strength and persistence. Flavor Journey The first third greets the palate with dark chocolate, cedar, and roasted almond. As the cigar warms, sweet earth and dried fruit emerge, harmonizing with a subtle spice. In the final third, richness deepens while balance remains, leaving a smooth and memorable finish that showcases the rewards of age and careful construction. Why It Belongs in Privada Privada is about more than cigars — it’s about discovery, storytelling, and artistry. The Badger embodies these ideals, bringing forward a refined blend that highlights the underappreciated elegance of volado and seco tobaccos. With its unique balance and aged complexity, it stands as a symbol of what makes the Subterraneo series a masterpiece.

The GOAT Aged 3+ Years Size: 9×45Vitola: Gran CoronaWrapper: UndisclosedBinder: UndisclosedFillers: Undisclosed (3-country blend)Flavor Notes: Creamy wood, leather, dark cocoa, dried fruit sweetness, baking spice, espresso, pepperPairing Notes: XO cognac, aged single malt scotch, dark rum, espresso, full-bodied red wines like Bordeaux or Cabernet, dark chocolate trufflesManufacturer: Privada Exclusive – Handcrafted in Costa Rica Privada Storytelling Some cigars are made for collectors. Others are made for legends. The GOAT was created with one man in mind: the greatest basketball player to ever step on the hardwood. Measuring an astonishing 9×45, it’s not only a cigar—it’s a statement piece, a symbol of ambition and mastery. Rolled entirely by hand in Costa Rica, only 5,000 cigars were ever produced, ensuring that each one remains a rarefied treasure. The tobaccos, drawn from three different countries, remain undisclosed. What matters most here is the experience—the privilege of holding in your hand the same cigar designed for the man himself. When you light The GOAT, you’re not just smoking—you’re stepping into greatness. It’s a victory lap, a celebration, and a reminder that legends are built with patience, skill, and relentless dedication. Flavor Journey First Third: Opens with creamy wood and leather, quickly joined by a subtle sweetness of dried fruits. Cocoa dust lingers on the tongue while black pepper zips through the retrohale. Second Third: The body deepens into espresso and rich baking spices, with waves of leather and cedar. A velvety smoke texture smooths out the pepper, creating a layered and balanced profile. Final Third: Bold, elegant, and resonant. Dark cocoa, espresso, and oak dominate with flashes of spice and subtle sweetness. The finish is long, echoing the endurance and dominance of its namesake. Why It Belongs in Privada This isn’t just another rare release—it’s a cigar born of legend. With only 5,000 in existence, The GOAT exemplifies Privada’s mission: to bring members cigars that no one else can. Its Costa Rican craftsmanship, imposing size, and tribute to the greatest of all time make it more than a cigar—it’s a legacy piece.

The Good Life Torpedo Aged 1.5+ Years Size: 5 1/2×52Vitola: TorpedoWrapper: Connecticut BroadleafBinder: NicaraguanFillers: NicaraguanFlavor Notes: Chocolate, peanuts, cream, root beer, golden honey, Smarties candy, raspberry, raisin bread, passionfruit, tart fruit, floralsPairing Notes: Chocolate cake, champagne, amber lager, cognac, chocolate-covered almonds, steak dinner, egg cream soda, ice cream sundaeManufacturer: J.C. Newman Cigar Co. (Nicaraguan Factory) Privada Storytelling I’m talking ’bout The Good Life. And yet, when this cigar first debuted, some people couldn’t believe it—me putting my own name on a cigar. At first, I wanted it to be released under J.C. Newman, but they politely declined, saying it wouldn’t be the right look. So I did what we always do at Privada: I created something bold, personal, and unapologetic. The band, inspired by the legendary Beverly Hills Hotel, was my amateur Photoshop project, but it symbolized everything this cigar stood for: indulgence, glamour, and the pursuit of life’s finer things. Some members got upset, wanting only other brands, not “ours.” But the truth remains—Privada is not a brand. Privada is the curator, the storyteller, the finder of the rarest leaves and the boldest blends. And this cigar? It’s a showcase of Connecticut Broadleaf tobacco that has been cultivated for over a century—a leaf with history, depth, and soul. Made at the Newmans’ Nicaraguan factory, this rendition of The Good Life may be the best yet. Aged for over a year and a half, it brings out everything Broadleaf was meant to be: funky, flavorful, and unforgettable. Flavor Journey First Third: Bursts of chocolate, peanuts, cream, red pepper, and sarsaparilla. A salty, peppery texture lays the groundwork, joined by baked bread, sesame, and a subtle red berry tang. Second Third: Golden honey and milky chocolate take center stage, layered with white pepper, sweet syrup, Raisinets, and cedar. A nostalgic note of Smarties candy creeps in, playful and unexpected. Final Third: The finale is floral and complex, with raspberry, raisin bread, passionfruit, tart fruit, horseradish, and chocolate weaving together. A bold raisin retrohale underscores this cigar’s complexity. Why It Belongs in Privada This cigar is a statement of identity. It represents what Privada is all about: finding the best tobaccos, collaborating with masters, and refusing to be boxed in by convention. It’s a Broadleaf experience unlike any other—steeped in history, aged to perfection, and curated exclusively for our members.

Blended at the world-renowned La Aurora Factory in the Dominican Republic, this cigar takes the original Last Cowboy’s structure and plunges it into shadow, wrapping it in a thick, oily Mexican San Andrés Maduro leaf. Beneath it lies a complex core of Nicaraguan, Dominican, and Pennsylvania Broadleaf tobaccos — each aged and layered for balance and strength. The result is a cigar that smolders like a campfire at midnight — earthy, sweet, and alive with slow-building intensity. The Ghoul doesn’t rush. It creeps, evolves, and rewards patience with deep waves of chocolate, pepper, and dark molasses. It’s the Last Cowboy reborn in the darkness — mysterious, menacing, and undeniably Sinistro. Flavor Journey The first third opens with cocoa, espresso, and oak, laced with black pepper and earthy sweetness. The midsection deepens with molasses, leather, and toasted wood, unfolding thick, chewy smoke that coats the palate. By the final third, the cigar reveals a slow crescendo of spice and chocolate, finishing bold but never harsh — smooth, dark, and hauntingly balanced. Why It Belongs in Privada Privada celebrates limited runs, rare blends, and cigars that tell stories — and the Last Cowboy Ghoul fits that definition perfectly. It’s not just a darker version; it’s a reimagining of a Sinistro classic that feels more like a midnight ritual than a smoke. Each puff honors the creativity, rebellion, and craftsmanship that define boutique cigars at their best. This cigar belongs in Privada because it embodies what our family lives for — rarity, soul, and the thrill of finding something the rest of the world slept on. Production Notes Limited-edition release from Sinistro Cigars. Manufactured at La Aurora Factory, Dominican Republic. San Andrés Maduro wrapper adds richness and depth. The Midnight Mile is dedicated to the truckers who guide eighteen wheels across endless highways, long after the world has gone quiet. It honors the solitude, the rhythm of tires on pavement, and the unseen dedication that keeps everything moving while others sleep. (Padrón Cigars, Estelí, Nicaragua) Release Info: Released at the 2023 PCA Trade Show; TAA Exclusive in 2024 Privada Storytelling: A New Chapter in the Book of Black The Padrón Black PB‑97 Maduro is something few people ever expected: a rare new release from one of the most consistent brands in the world—and one that shows Padrón still has surprises hidden in its soil. Launched at the 2023 PCA Trade Show and distributed as a TAA exclusive in 2024, the PB‑97 Maduro arrives with serious mystery. It’s not part of the 1926 or 1964 lines. It’s not part of the core rotation. It is its own thing—a statement wrapped in shadows. Shaped in a sleek, box-pressed torpedo format and finished in Padrón’s unmistakable dark, toothy Maduro wrapper, the PB‑97 commands attention without saying a word. The blend is 100% Nicaraguan—grown, aged, and fermented by the Padrón family, with tobaccos matured for an estimated five years before ever reaching the rolling table. What separates this from the legacy lines? The balance. The PB‑97 Maduro isn’t heavy for heavy’s sake—it’s measured, modern, and expertly restrained. It’s a maduro with the volume turned to clarity. Flavor Journey: The first third fires off with black pepper, dark cocoa, and oily espresso bean, settling quickly into a core of earth, leather, and toasted oak. Midway through, complexity builds—molasses, dried fruit, and just a hint of black cherry, echoing old-school richness with a refined modern cadence. The final third introduces subtle heat, deeper woods, and a dry, elegant finish that reminds you—this isn’t a test blend. This is a finished thought, delivered in smoke. Why It’s Privada-Worthy Privada is about more than access—we’re about relevance. And the PB‑97 Maduro is exactly that: a fresh page in the Padrón story, offered only to a few, seen by even fewer, and now in your hands. It’s not hype. It’s heritage, reimagined. Whether you collect, savor, or both—this one doesn’t just belong in your humidor. It belongs in your memory.

A few months back, our site was hacked. The attackers rerouted visitors to a Persian rug store—this exact rug, in fact, is what inspired the band. Instead of being bitter, we decided to embrace it. This is Privada: turning lemons into lemonade, or in this case, rugs into cigars. The Persian Rug isn’t just a name—it’s a memory of resilience woven into one of the most complex cigars we’ve ever put out. Crafted in Costa Rica at a factory we cannot disclose, this Lancero is built on rare Costa Rican tobaccos with something extra hidden in the blend. It is already gaining attention online and is destined to be one of the hottest cigars of the year. Hackers might have tried to stop us, but instead they gave us the inspiration for a masterpiece. Flavor Journey First Third: Bursts open with leather, raspberry, Spanish cedar, cream, Craisin, and sarsaparilla root. A hint of black pepper rounds out the smoke. Second Third: Freeze-dried raspberries and tart cranberries return, layered over cedar and shifting into an oaky finish. Pepper softens into a refined white pepper while strawberry Laffy Taffy notes emerge playfully. Final Third: Fruits intensify into candied sweetness, balanced by thyme, charcoal, and a syrupy smoke texture. Black pepper strengthens on the finish, closing out a cigar that is as bold as it is unforgettable. Why It Belongs in Privada This cigar is proof of why Privada exists. We take setbacks, accidents, and forgotten stock and turn them into stories, legends, and rare smoking experiences. The Persian Rug isn’t just another release—it’s a symbol of the community, the fight, and the artistry that defines Privada. It’s a Costa Rican gem with a flavor profile that will leave collectors chasing it for years to come.
