The GOAT Aged 3+ Years Size: 9×45Vitola: Gran CoronaWrapper: UndisclosedBinder: UndisclosedFillers: Undisclosed (3-country blend)Flavor Notes: Creamy wood, leather, dark cocoa, dried fruit sweetness, baking spice, espresso, pepperPairing Notes: XO cognac, aged single malt scotch, dark rum, espresso, full-bodied red wines like Bordeaux or Cabernet, dark chocolate trufflesManufacturer: Privada Exclusive – Handcrafted in Costa Rica Privada Storytelling Some cigars are made for collectors. Others are made for legends. The GOAT was created with one man in mind: the greatest basketball player to ever step on the hardwood. Measuring an astonishing 9×45, it’s not only a cigar—it’s a statement piece, a symbol of ambition and mastery. Rolled entirely by hand in Costa Rica, only 5,000 cigars were ever produced, ensuring that each one remains a rarefied treasure. The tobaccos, drawn from three different countries, remain undisclosed. What matters most here is the experience—the privilege of holding in your hand the same cigar designed for the man himself. When you light The GOAT, you’re not just smoking—you’re stepping into greatness. It’s a victory lap, a celebration, and a reminder that legends are built with patience, skill, and relentless dedication. Flavor Journey First Third: Opens with creamy wood and leather, quickly joined by a subtle sweetness of dried fruits. Cocoa dust lingers on the tongue while black pepper zips through the retrohale. Second Third: The body deepens into espresso and rich baking spices, with waves of leather and cedar. A velvety smoke texture smooths out the pepper, creating a layered and balanced profile. Final Third: Bold, elegant, and resonant. Dark cocoa, espresso, and oak dominate with flashes of spice and subtle sweetness. The finish is long, echoing the endurance and dominance of its namesake. Why It Belongs in Privada This isn’t just another rare release—it’s a cigar born of legend. With only 5,000 in existence, The GOAT exemplifies Privada’s mission: to bring members cigars that no one else can. Its Costa Rican craftsmanship, imposing size, and tribute to the greatest of all time make it more than a cigar—it’s a legacy piece.

Tabacalera Diaz Delectados Ox Blood Aged 1.5+ Years Size: 5 1/2×52Vitola: Robusto ExtraWrapper: UndisclosedBinder: UndisclosedFillers: Undisclosed Dominican blendFlavor Notes: Aged cedar, canned peaches, syrupy sweetness, mustiness, black pepper, white pepper, pine, citrus, dried fruits, cream, berries, root beerPairing Notes: Scotch, root beer, cream sodaManufacturer: Tabacalera Diaz (Eladio Diaz) Privada Storytelling The name Delectados carries with it both Cuban mystery and cinematic allure—immortalized by James Bond and reborn through Privada’s partnership with none other than Eladio Diaz. For over 30 years, Eladio was the quiet genius behind Davidoff’s most celebrated blends. Now, his mastery continues under his own banner, and Privada members have access to cigars that would easily command $30+ on the open market. The Ox Blood iteration of Delectados embraces a darker, moodier profile than the original LCA release. With its rich, syrupy sweetness, musty elegance, and holiday warmth, it feels like December distilled into smoke. This is the kind of cigar that whispers rather than shouts, drawing you into its complexity with the confidence of a blender who doesn’t need to prove anything. For Privada, this isn’t just a cigar—it’s a seat at Eladio’s table. Flavor Journey First Third: Opens with aged cedar, syrupy canned peaches, and a signature mustiness that marks Eladio’s touch. Sweet smoke with black pepper on the retrohale and white pepper on the palate sets the foundation. Second Third: A shift toward pine and citrus emerges, mingling with dried fruits and cream. The introduction of root-like flavors evokes craft root beer, layering nostalgia into the profile. Final Third: Mustiness fades, allowing cedar to return alongside nuanced notes of berries and peaches. The balance deepens, with creamy smoke carrying the experience into a refined finish reminiscent of Davidoff’s most coveted limited editions. Why It Belongs in Privada Opportunities like this are rare—cigars by Eladio Diaz, crafted exclusively for Privada members, released at prices far below the market standard. The Ox Blood is proof of what Privada stands for: access to greatness, respect for heritage, and a constant push toward discovery. It belongs here because it captures the essence of what only this club can provide—an intimate taste of a master blender’s genius.

Stallone Exclusivo Privada Aged 5+ Years Size: 6×54 Box PressVitola: Toro Box PressWrapper: Mexican San Andrés (8/9 priming, slow fermented, aged 3 years)Binder: Venezuelan Burley (aged 5 years in ex-rum casks)Fillers: Nicaraguan (Estelí, Ometepe, Jalapa; Ometepe aged in oak casks, fillers aged 4 years)Flavor Notes: Creamy chocolate, pipe tobacco cherry, licorice, teriyaki glaze, toasted rye bread, cinnamon, espresso with lemon, apricot, oak, medium roast coffee, cocoa, vanilla, apple cider vinegarPairing Notes: Rum, chocolate-covered cherries or strawberries, medium roast coffee with sugar, espresso with lemon, pastrami or Reuben on rye, fennel dishes, dried mangoes, banana chips, Almond Joy, pineapple, guava desserts, strawberry shortcake, Bahama Mama, tropical cocktailsManufacturer: Stallone Cigars (Tabacalera Palma, Dominican Republic) Privada Storytelling Tony Barrios of Stallone Cigars has carved his reputation with bold, full-bodied blends that demand respect from the smoker. Yet nothing prepared us for the day he called unexpectedly to say, “Your Privada exclusive is ready.” No negotiations. No planning. Just pure passion and generosity, rolled into a project meant only for our members. The result was the Stallone Exclusivo Privada, a cigar unlike anything we had ever seen before. From the moment it arrived—with cellophane stamped with the Privada logo—it felt like history. That sheen, that sumptuous box press, and then the blend: San Andrés wrapper aged three years, Venezuelan Burley binder aged five years in rum casks, Nicaraguan fillers aged four years, with Ometepe tobacco finished in oak. This was not just a cigar; it was a statement. A wild experiment in tobacco aging and treatment that somehow came together in perfect balance. After over five years of Privada-controlled aging, it has evolved even further. What began as bold and mysterious is now rich, creamy, and layered with flavors no other cigar on the market can match. This is why Privada exists—to bring members something so singular, so experimental, that smoking it feels like uncovering a hidden chapter in tobacco history. Flavor Journey First Third: Vegetal and smoky with barnyard and cocoa aromas. The cold draw recalls cherry pipe tobacco and licorice, while the foot offers chocolate and rich tobacco. The smoke is creamy and chocolate-laden, balanced with bread crust, red pepper retrohale, BBQ jerky, and teriyaki glaze. Cinnamon lingers in the retro as the flavors weave into balance. Second Third: The teriyaki glaze intensifies, paired with toasted rye bread, milk chocolate, and a saline edge. Retrohale sharpens with cinnamon spice. The smoke texture becomes rich cream, lifted by a lemon-espresso brightness. Apricot joins chocolate and rye, showcasing an uncommon but harmonious interplay. Final Third: Chocolate, cinnamon, and oak dominate the retrohale, while the draw features creamy cocoa, lemon, apricot, earth, and medium roast coffee. Rye bread returns as the profile drifts toward pie-like flavors—pecan, apple cider vinegar, and sweet vanilla. Balanced, indulgent, and unlike anything else in the Privada vault. Why It Belongs in Privada This cigar is the definition of why Privada exists. A spontaneous act of generosity by Tony Barrios became a once-in-a-lifetime experiment in aging and fermentation. Rum-cask binders, oak-aged Ometepe fillers, and years of Privada care have created a cigar no one else in the industry could have imagined. Bold, balanced, experimental, and aged to perfection—this is the Privada promise in physical form.

When Robert called Privada with news of a hidden stash of three-year-aged Lanceros, we knew it was something extraordinary. Named for its reddish manzanita-hued wrapper, this cigar reflects the rugged yet refined personality of the brand itself. A Texas-based venture with roots deep in Nicaragua, Southern Draw has become one of the most respected boutique names in the industry. These Lanceros were never meant to be widely distributed — they were aged in secrecy, reserved as a statement of patience, artistry, and passion. Their release is both a gift and a rare glimpse into Southern Draw’s dedication to creating cigars that only improve with time. Flavor Journey First Third: Opens with sweet apricot jam and cedar, enveloped in creamy smoke. Subtle layers of charred wood and dried stone fruit emerge, balanced by roasted almonds and white pepper on the retrohale. Second Third: The profile evolves into sweet almond and golden hay, joined by florals and cedar. A surprising touch of orange taffy adds vibrance while charred cedar grounds the flavor. Final Third: Pepper recedes as black coffee, roasted nuts, apricot, and oak take center stage. The finish is balanced, long, and deeply satisfying, showcasing how aging transforms complexity into harmony. Why It Belongs in Privada The Southern Draw Manzanita Lancero Aged 3 Years belongs in Privada because it’s rare, aged, and deeply tied to the story of a brand defined by authenticity and passion. Privada thrives on bringing its members cigars that aren’t just smokes but experiences — and this Lancero, with its history, exclusivity, and depth, embodies that philosophy.

The Room 101 Murder Hornet was Matt Booth’s long-awaited return to Honduran puros—a throwback to the cigars that made Room 101 a cult favorite in the early 2010s. Rolled at the renowned Raíces Cubanas factory, the Murder Hornet reintroduced a style Booth hadn’t touched in nearly a decade, reminding aficionados what “old school” Room 101 really tasted like. More than a cigar, this was a resurrection. Booth’s Honduran work had been celebrated for its nuance, balance, and bold identity, and the Murder Hornet carried that torch forward. The limited LCA release sold fast, instantly becoming one of the most talked-about drops in the club. Now, with over two years of Privada-controlled aging, the Hornet’s sting has mellowed into honeyed harmony—its boldness refined, its character matured, its roots preserved. Flavor Journey First Third: Bright notes of roasted coffee and oak lead the way, with black tea and charred wood rising quickly into the profile. Subtle floral whispers emerge in the retrohale, offering grace to the strength of the opening. Second Third: The cigar settles into balance. Tea and oak remain present, joined by a soft honey sweetness that rounds out the profile. Florals expand, weaving themselves into the smoke like fragrant threads, while charred wood provides backbone. Final Third: The Hornet closes with deep oak, a resurgence of coffee, and lingering tea tannins. Florals fade to the background while charred wood becomes more dominant, leaving a dry, classic Honduran finish that recalls Booth’s earliest masterpieces. Why It Belongs in Privada The Murder Hornet represents exactly why Privada exists: a legendary blender returning to his roots, a factory known for producing some of the most revered Honduran puros, and a release that otherwise would have been lost to time. By aging it for over two years, Privada ensures members experience it not just as it was—but as it has become: refined, layered, and timeless. This cigar is both a history lesson and a celebration.

A master blender and fermenter, his brilliance went unrecognized at one of Honduras’s largest factories. Fueled by equal parts ambition and retribution, Don Ramon struck out on his own, founding La Factoria de Digbanya in the thick jungles of Honduras. There, he began experimenting with tobaccos traded across the Nicaraguan-Honduran border, re-fermenting each leaf until it achieved extraordinary depth. The result is Ramon — a cigar named in honor of Ramon Allones, carrying forward a legacy of defiance and creativity. It’s more than a cigar; it’s Don Ramon’s declaration that true tobacco artistry transcends borders, and that greatness comes not from the factory’s name but from the hands and heart of its maker. Flavor Journey First Third: Opens with toasty cedar, cream, and tart cherry, punctuated by white toast, apricot, orange, and vanilla. A complex start that feels alive with vibrancy. Second Third: Fruity cedar remains at the core, now joined by oak, cream, and subtle spice. Notes of white pepper and toast keep the profile sharp yet balanced. Final Third: Deepens into caramelized nuts, rich espresso, and smooth dark chocolate. Cedar lingers with refined spice, leaving a sophisticated and memorable finish. Why It Belongs in Privada This cigar belongs in Privada because it represents everything the club stands for: bold stories, rare cigars, and a willingness to seek greatness outside of the mainstream. Don Ramon’s work is both a rebellion and a revelation, giving Privada members exclusive access to a blend that is as much a piece of tobacco history as it is a smoke.

The 7×38 Connecticut Lancero is a vitola revered by collectors and connoisseurs alike, requiring expert rollers to achieve its slim, delicate construction. Just as champagne defines celebration, this cigar was blended to embody refinement—light, refined, and endlessly nuanced. In an industry where bolder blends often dominate the spotlight, Privada De Champagne reminds us of the power of subtlety. This cigar is about finesse: smooth layers, gentle transitions, and flavors that speak quietly yet confidently. To light this Lancero is to enter a moment of grace, a cigar for occasions worth remembering. Flavor Journey First Third: Opens with creamy cedar, almonds, and a honey sweetness. A hint of citrus zest brightens the palate while white pepper lingers delicately in the retrohale. Second Third: Notes of light toast, hay, and buttered bread develop. The citrus zest from the opening returns for a refreshing conclusion. Why It Belongs in Privada The Champagne Series represents Privada’s dedication to refined experiences. De Champagne sets the tone with a vitola and profile that appeal to purists and collectors who appreciate restraint as much as power. The man who has long collected the finest cognac, champagne, and cigars decided it was time to add one more delicacy to his repertoire: dessert cigars. Inspired by the macaron, Guillaume sought to craft cigars as refined and nuanced as the famous French confection. Each blend is rooted in a different cigar-producing country and tied to a macaron flavor, creating the Patisserie Macaron Series. The Vanilla from Nicaragua, the Orange from the Dominican Republic, and the Lemon from Honduras each reflect not only their terroir but also their place as after-dinner indulgences. These cigars are not mass-market creations but rather limited, personal projects from Guillaume’s estate, shared with Privada members as a reward for building culture and community. Only 1,000 of each flavor exist. No social media, no cigar company branding—just refined luxury, available to the few who understand that the best pleasures are quiet, rare, and savored slowly. Like a fine macaron, these cigars are not everyday smokes. They are celebrations. Flavor Journey Vanilla (Nicaragua): Opens with creamy coffee and roasted nuts, evolving into cedar and vanilla bean sweetness. The finish is smooth, balanced, and pastry-like—an ideal pairing for dessert or espresso. Orange (Dominican Republic): Bright citrus zest mingles with cream and hay. Almonds and soft spices follow, with a floral finish that recalls fine Dominican elegance. Lemon (Honduras): Tangy lemon peel and honey lead, supported by white pepper and buttery pastry notes. Oak and herbs provide depth, while the finish is light, refreshing, and unexpected. Why It Belongs in Privada Privada exists to bring members experiences they could never find on their own. The Patisserie Macaron Series is one of those gifts: a billionaire’s private collection, shared only because of our community. Each cigar reflects not just tobacco artistry, but culinary inspiration, bridging the worlds of fine dining and cigar smoking. With only 1,000 of each produced, they are as rare as they are refined.

The Narcos RL Aged 3+ Years is proof. Conceived by two ambitious young men from the Dominican Republic—the same duo who gave us Capos and Burnot—this cigar represents the fire of a new generation rising to reclaim the Dominican Republic’s rightful place in the world of premium cigars. Originally aged for two full years at the factory, these cigars then endured an additional three years of Privada’s signature post-production rest. The result is a smoking experience that feels mature yet vibrant, like an old soul in a youthful body. In an industry often plagued by rushed releases, Narcos RL is a bold declaration: quality is worth waiting for. Flavor Journey First Third: Opens with fresh-cut cedar and molasses, layered with honey glaze and citrus zest. A wave of charcoal smoke sharpens the edges, giving it both depth and brightness. Second Third: The orange note transforms into something softer, almost like whipped cream with a kiss of red pepper. Charred woods and floral hints weave into powdery plumes, with a white pepper retrohale adding balance. Final Third: Smoke smooths out into warm cinnamon and florals, supported by citrus zest that lingers from start to finish. A musty wood and soy sauce note anchors the final moments with depth and contrast. Why It Belongs in Privada Narcos RL isn’t just a cigar—it’s a manifesto. It tells the story of two Dominican blenders who refuse to let tradition fade, who work tirelessly to elevate their country’s tobacco heritage to the highest echelon. It belongs in Privada because it embodies our mission: to showcase passion, innovation, and craft from voices that will shape the future of cigars.

Ñandysy Aged 1+ Years Size: 6×52Vitola: ToroWrapper: Dominican Viso from the Cibao ValleyBinder: BrazilFillers: San Vicente, Piloto Cubano, and Flojo from ParaguayFlavor Notes: Cedar, golden raisin, white pepper, orange blossom, dried cherry, floral teas, rosemary, hay, toasted cashew, buttered toastPairing Notes: Cherry Coke, Jack Daniels, sugar cookies, raisins, roasted nuts, cafecito with toast, dried cherries, herbal teasManufacturer: Small Dominican partner factory using tobacco from Paraguay and Dominican Republic Privada Storytelling Ñandysy carries a name that speaks to dairy, milk, and cream in the Guarani language of Paraguay, a word born of the jungles of South America and now brought to life on a cigar band. When I first began working with a factory in Brazil, the connection wasn’t immediate. But when they introduced me to a small factory in Paraguay, things changed. There was something unique in what they were doing—especially with a rare tobacco called Flojo, a long-filler viso they claim has roots in Africa. This cigar represents an international dance of cultures and tobaccos: Paraguayan Flojo shipped to the Dominican Republic, where it is married with Dominican staples like San Vicente and Piloto Cubano. The result is a blend that feels familiar yet distinctly different. Creamy, floral, spiced—it speaks with its own accent. Think of it as a Dominican puro that traveled south, learned a new language, and came back changed. Ñandysy is smooth, floral, and layered, with a story that’s as fascinating as the flavors it delivers. Flavor Journey First Third: Cedar and golden raisin lead the charge, followed by orange blossom, dried cherry, and a silky velvet-like smoke. A white pepper sparkle lingers on the retrohale. Second Third: The floral bouquet expands—orange blossom becomes more defined, rose hip tea and other herbal florals appear. A cola-like effervescence rides the retrohale alongside white pepper. Final Third: The profile softens into herbal tones of dried rosemary, hay, and buttered toast. Toasted cashew adds richness while the smoke remains mellow, creamy, and smooth. Why It Belongs in Privada Ñandysy is the perfect example of how Privada brings tobaccos from overlooked corners of the world into the spotlight. Paraguayan Flojo isn’t something you’ll see anywhere else—yet here it is, shaping a cigar that is creamy, floral, and distinct. This is discovery, this is rarity, this is Privada.

Matt Booth returned to Joya de Nicaragua, the factory that helped bring the Death Bucket 2 to life, and asked for something twisted, playful, and seasonal. His answer? The same base blend, only reimagined with an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and in his preferred 6×46 vitola—a size he calls perfect for fall nights. The band and concept leaned into the outrageous: Naked Booth himself, clad in a leopard thong and cape, reminding us that while the cigar industry carries itself seriously, it should never lose its humor or creativity. Underneath the costume, however, is a serious cigar. This is Booth’s artistry fused with Joya’s craft, refined over more than four years of Privada-controlled aging. A blend equal parts funky, nutty, spicy, and earthy—designed to shock and satisfy in equal measure. Flavor Journey First Third: Opens with wood, bread, dried fruit, leather, and hay. A nut medley of chestnut, roasted hazelnut, and hickory emerges quickly. Retrohale delivers funky cedar, dried fruit, white pepper, musty earth, and a kiss of butterscotch sweetness. Cocoa and horseradish sauce sneak in, joined by pecan, brown sugar, cedar, and fresh tarragon. Second Third: The horseradish expands, joined by dry mustard spice, musty almond, mulchy earth, mushroom notes, and dried figs. Retrohale sharpens into musty cedar and wasabi heat, shocking yet refined. Final Third: Sweetness builds—caramel, candied almonds, candied orange rind, brown sugar. Tangy Worcestershire umami and sautéed vegetables emerge, finishing with pine, applewood, roasted chestnut, citrus zest, and a return of horseradish minerality. Complex, funky, and utterly addictive—you’ll smoke it to the nub. Why It Belongs in Privada Privada thrives on turning cigars into experiences, and Naked Booth Trick-or-Treat is exactly that. Equal parts theater, artistry, and aged refinement, it captures the playful irreverence of Matt Booth while delivering a flavor performance only time and patience could unlock. This is not a cigar for the masses—it’s a collector’s Halloween piece, proof of why Privada curates what others won’t.

Born from the vision of two Beverly Hills investors turned cigar artisans, Montenegro Cigars has built its legacy on patience, organic farming, and an unwavering dedication to purity. Every tobacco leaf is aged at least five years, often seven or more, and grown under the meticulous care of Hector Luis Prieto, one of Cuba’s most revered farmers. This makes Montenegro the only known organic tobacco farm in the world, a rarity in an industry where yield often takes priority over quality. This particular series pays homage to Cuban revolutionary President Gomez, a figure whose life was as bold and polarizing as the flavors in this cigar. From the first spark, you are greeted with rich, dripping chocolate notes unlike anything else in the Privada portfolio. It is decadent, unapologetic, and deeply revolutionary—just like the man whose name it carries. Flavor Journey First Third: A swirl of hazelnut, cinnamon simple syrup, cedar, and orange rind, wrapped in creamy smoke with hints of red and white pepper. Vanilla hides beneath the surface, rounding the profile into a seamless harmony. Second Third: Bursting with chocolate-covered fruits, the profile thickens into lush smoke laced with oak, cedar, and hazelnut. Chocolate syrup dominates, offering one of the most dessert-like experiences you’ll find in a cigar. Final Third: Intensifies into a robust crescendo—fruit, cream, oak, hazelnut, cocoa, and vanilla. Occasional relights reveal just how juicy this blend is, rewarding with one of the richest finishes of any cigar aged in Privada’s vault. Why It Belongs in Privada The President Gomez Series represents the pinnacle of Montenegro’s ethos: uncompromising quality, extreme patience, and innovation rooted in tradition. Its organic origins and unrivaled chocolate-forward profile make it a landmark cigar for collectors and connoisseurs alike. This is the kind of cigar that redefines expectations—it isn’t just smoked, it’s remembered.

While most aficionados know Eladio Diaz as the legendary blender behind Davidoff for three decades, fewer know that he has a brother—also named Eladio. Known by the nickname “Chebede,” this brother has quietly shaped Dominican blending history alongside him, and now his work takes center stage at Tabacalera Puente. The Madonna Aged 2+ Years is a tribute to that legacy, carrying forward the classic Dominican profile that once defined some of the most iconic white and gold labels in cigar history. It’s a style rooted in elegance, subtlety, and finesse—qualities that only true masters can achieve. With over two years of aging, Madonna reveals the harmony and depth of Dominican tobaccos at their peak, inviting you to step back into a golden era of refined smoking. Flavor Journey First Third: Opens with honey and hay layered over an aged, mushroom-like mustiness. A canned peach sweetness hits the tip of the tongue, while oak and white pepper add structure. Cinnamon joins the mix, creating a rich and nostalgic Dominican profile with velvety smoke. Second Third: Cedar rises above oak, sharpened by an apricot twang. Cinnamon remains steady, balanced by notes of forest floor, faint vanilla, and coffee bean. The retrohale is silky, carrying white pepper and soft spice. Final Third: The experience deepens into roasted coffee bean, peanut butter, oak, cedar, and a return of cinnamon. Creamy, dense smoke lingers long on the palate, a classic display of Dominican craftsmanship matured through time. Why It Belongs in Privada This cigar represents more than tobacco—it’s a story of lineage, secrecy, and forgotten mastery. The Madonna reminds us that behind every legendary blender, there are often others whose talents remain in the shadows. Privada brings Chebede’s work to light, offering members an authentic Dominican experience steeped in history and refined through patience.

Highland Scotch or well-aged bourbon. After a steak dinner or with dark chocolate mousse. Even better following a Cuban coffee and rich vanilla flan. Manufacturer: Tabacos Cubanica S.A. (Padrón Cigars, Nicaragua) Privada’s Take: A Smoke Measured in Generations There are cigars, and then there are monuments—handheld tributes to something greater than themselves. The Padrón 1926 Series No. 40 Maduro isn’t just another blend from a respected factory. It’s a celebration of legacy, lineage, and the obsessive pursuit of perfection across generations. Crafted to honor José Orlando Padrón’s 75th birthday, this cigar was never meant to just exist. It was designed to lead. Each component—from the sun-grown Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper to the 10-year-aged filler—comes from the Padrón family’s own soil. They don’t outsource. They don’t chase trends. They grow, ferment, age, roll, and release only when it’s perfect. That’s why these tobaccos never see the light of day until they’ve been properly honored—aged five to ten years, post-fermentation. The No. 40 sits in rare air—not just as a top-scorer in every serious publication (93 points), but as a recurring name in “best cigar in the world” discussions. And yet... in your hand, it doesn’t flex. It just performs. Flavor Journey:Pre-light reveals cocoa dust and sun-warmed barnwood. The draw opens like velvet—dark chocolate meets espresso crema, met by undertones of nutmeg, cedar, and aged leather. Black pepper and toasted walnuts swirl in the retrohale, but always controlled, never aggressive. As the smoke deepens, so does the narrative: complex, confident, deeply satisfying. This is luxury without arrogance. What makes it Privada-worthy?The No. 40 isn’t just about taste—it’s about access. Time. Patience. Respect. These cigars aren’t sitting in bins—they’re protected like heirlooms until they're ready for the right hands. You don’t stumble into a cigar like this. You find it because you searched for more. And now, like the best collectors, you’ve found it.

(Padrón Cigars, Estelí, Nicaragua) Privada Storytelling: A Masterpiece in Sunlight Some cigars make you stop what you’re doing and recalibrate your palate. The Padrón 1926 Series No. 40 Natural is one of them. It’s the sunlit twin to the Maduro—equally serious, equally aged, and equally unforgettable. Created in celebration of José Orlando Padrón’s 75th birthday, the No. 40 stands as a pillar of Padrón's uncompromising legacy. But where the Maduro evokes midnight richness, the Natural brings warmth, elegance, and golden balance. From the moment you hold the crisp, box-pressed torpedo in your hand, you’ll understand this isn’t just premium—it’s iconic. The Nicaraguan Sun-Grown Natural wrapper shimmers with oils aged over time, developing a honeyed hue and an aroma that hints at cedar groves and warm tobacco barns. Every component—from wrapper to filler—is grown, aged, and fermented by the Padrón family themselves. There are no brokers here. No mass-market shortcuts. These tobaccos have been resting for at least five years, some close to a decade, before they ever touch a roller’s table. Flavor Journey:The first puffs bring notes of toasted almond, warm cinnamon, and silky cream, gradually layering in cedar and sweet hay. The retrohale is where the spice shows up: black pepper and light roast coffee, but it never overpowers. Instead, it dances. As the cigar progresses, there’s a sweetness—like honeyed cashews—that comes and goes with the elegance of a waltz. Never demanding, always present. This is refinement personified. And yet, like all Padróns, it draws and burns flawlessly—straight, even, and bold without being aggressive. It’s that rare combination of power and poise that makes this cigar a fixture in top 10 lists worldwide. Why It’s Privada-Worthy At Privada, we chase stories that taste as rich as they read. The No. 40 Natural isn't just another award-winner—it’s an heirloom, a flavor journal aged in secrecy, released only when worthy. To light one is to take part in the Padrón family tradition—quiet, strong, and unshakably honest. This cigar is for those who appreciate mastery without flash, flavor without compromise, and aging without limits.

Padrón 1926 Series No. 1 Maduro Size: 6¾" x 54 Vitola: Box-Pressed Churchill Wrapper: Nicaraguan Sun-Grown Maduro Binder: Nicaraguan Fillers: Nicaraguan long-fillers aged 5–10 years Strength: Full-Bodied Flavor Notes:Dark chocolate, espresso bean, black pepper, toasted oak, baking spice, leather, subtle molasses Pairing Notes:Rye whiskey, dark roast espresso, smoked brisket, mole poblano, chocolate truffles Manufacturer: Tabacos Cubanica S.A. (Padrón Cigars, Estelí, Nicaragua) Privada Storytelling: The Long Road to Glory When it comes to Padrón, size matters—but it’s not about how long the cigar lasts. It’s about how long the tobacco waited to become this good. The 1926 Series No. 1 Maduro is a 6¾" box-pressed Churchill that stretches both time and flavor. It doesn’t rush. It commands your full attention—and rewards you for it. Built to celebrate José Orlando Padrón’s 75th birthday, the 1926 line is nothing short of elite. The No. 1 Maduro? That’s the deep-cut for serious collectors. It’s the first vitola in the line, and still one of the most limited in production. What you’re holding is a statement of excellence wrapped in sun-grown Maduro—jet-black and oil-rich with years of rest already behind it. What makes this cigar unique isn’t just the construction (which is flawless), or the pedigree (which is undisputed). It’s the experience of time, compressed into flavor. Every tobacco leaf inside was aged for at least five years, and some for nearly a decade—all grown by the Padrón family themselves. This means absolute control, from seed to smoke. Flavor Journey:Pre-light aroma hits you with barnwood and black cocoa. The cold draw is peppered raisin and cedar. From first light, you’re thrown into a rich mix of espresso, dark chocolate, and leather, with black pepper and toasted oak carrying through the retrohale. About halfway in, something shifts—molasses and baking spice creep in, rounding the edges without softening the punch. The final third? A long, lingering finish of earth, walnut, and scorched cinnamon. Why It’s Privada-Worthy At Privada, we don’t chase trends—we chase greatness. And this cigar is greatness. The No. 1 Maduro is what happens when a family doesn’t compromise, doesn’t rush, and doesn’t care what the rest of the industry is doing. It’s slow, deliberate, and designed for people who understand what they’re holding. If the cigar world had a Mount Rushmore, this would be carved right into it.

That moment is Davidoff Nicaragua. It’s the first 100% Nicaraguan leaf blend from Davidoff, a product of a decade-long experiment led by master blender Hendrik Kelner. Every leaf—from wrapper to filler—comes from Nicaragua’s volcanic fields and rests for years before reaching a roller’s hand. Despite its pedigree, this isn’t a cigar meant to stun. It’s built for balance, complexity, and clean refinement. The wrapper gleams with a marbled Rosado hue, the construction is near flawless, and the first third delivers soft spice moving slowly into toasted sweetness and espresso-like depth. As smoke builds, hints of roasted nuts, caramel, and subtle fruit emerge, all grounded by cedar and mineral earth. This cigar is what happens when Davidoff’s minimalist elegance meets Nicaraguan boldness—and somehow the result is perfectly restrained. Flavor Journey: The cold draw opens with vanilla toffee and cedar, followed by subtle spice and caramel warmth. First light brings pepper and espresso, balanced immediately by cream and cedar sweetness. By the second third, dark chocolate, roasted nuts, and soft oak take center stage. The final third deepens—earth and black pepper mellow into tobacco sweetness, leaving a long, satisfied finish. While reviews have ranged from solid (around 88–89 points) to glowing (some scoring 95), the consensus remains: this is Davidoff-standard construction with Nicaraguan depth and clean evolution across the smoke. Why It’s Privada-Worthy Privada isn’t just about rare cigars—it’s about stories that shatter expectations. Davidoff Nicaragua is that kind of story: a luxury brand stepping into uncharted terroir, blending patience with innovation, and delivering a smoke that earned its place among Cigar Aficionado’s top-rated releases. It bridges the worlds of classic refinement and Nicaraguan strength with elegance few others can match. For the collector who wants refinement wrapped in boldness—and the palate that demands both—this is a must.

Debuted at the 2025 PCA Trade Show, this release taps into fresh varietals through the partnership with Artista Cigars, blending Paraguayan and Dominican ligero tobaccos under a rich Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and a Pennsylvania Broadleaf binder. Rather than nostalgia, Mr. Sinistro represents reinvention. Deeply flavorful from the first draw, it’s intended not to pay homage—but to ignite conversation. Flavor Journey: First Third: A pronounced graham cracker sweetness opens the show, layered with toasted marshmallow and honey‑like tobacco—clean but rich. Second Third: Cedar and malt emerge, spice builds via black pepper, and weight shifts toward espresso depth balanced with earth tones. The Aniversario No. 3 Tubos is a masterclass in restraint, refinement, and reputation. It comes housed in a clean, aluminum tube not for flair, but for freshness, transport, and presentation—the luxury version of a handshake. Wrapped in silky Ecuadorian Connecticut and filled with aged Dominican leaf, this cigar has become a go-to for those who value smoothness without sacrificing complexity. It doesn’t burn bold. It burns beautifully. And that’s why it’s still here—decades later—unchanged and revered. Flavor Journey: The first puffs deliver cedar, cream, and sweet hay, with a soft spice that gradually builds into toasted nuts and subtle white pepper. Midway, expect hints of leather and vanilla, wrapped in a delicate balance of toast and light cocoa. The finish is long, slightly floral, and unmistakably Davidoff: smooth, aromatic, and composed. It’s the kind of cigar that doesn’t evolve aggressively—it drifts gently from start to finish, like smoke rising in the morning light. Why It’s Privada-Worthy At Privada, we’re drawn to cigars that leave a mark—not through power, but through presence. The Davidoff Aniversario No. 3 Tubos doesn’t chase hype. It doesn’t change year to year. It stays exactly what it’s always been: a cigar for moments that matter. If you appreciate craftsmanship, subtlety, and cigars that carry history in every inch—this belongs in your rotation.
