At its core is Marcos Rodriguez, a young Dominican blender who trained under the legendary Chico Rivas. Marcos is one of a new wave of tabacaleros, craftsmen who are not backed by millions or marketing machines, but by raw skill and heart. When he’s not blending cigars, Marcos can be found roaring through the mountains of Santiago on his Harley, a symbol of the same freedom and rebellion his cigars embody. The Capos Habano is his calling card: bold yet nuanced, tough yet delicate. With tobaccos aged over three years, this Habano-wrapped toro delivers a smoking experience that is both rustic and refined. Buttery smoke with hints of herbs, bread, and florals creates an intriguing and refreshing profile. Second Third: Butter becomes more pronounced, joined by oak, sunflower seed-like saltiness, sweet florals, and a touch of anise. Vanilla and cinnamon peek through, adding depth to the mineral and herbal core. Final Third: Vanilla, oak, and florals dominate, supported by a phantom grapefruit zest and earthy minerality. A balance of salt, butter, wood, and herbs finishes the cigar with a unique, refreshing complexity. Why It Belongs in Privada The Capos Habano belongs in Privada because it exemplifies our mission: finding hidden gems crafted by artisans with something to prove. Marcos Rodriguez represents the future of Dominican blending—a future rooted in tradition but bold enough to chase new flavors. By aging the tobaccos for 3+ years, he delivers not only a cigar, but a statement. Supporting Capos Cigars is supporting the next generation of master blenders.

Montenegro Batista Aged 10+ Years Size: 6×52 Toro (classic format)Vitola: ToroWrapper: Nicaraguan (long-aged)Binder: NicaraguanFillers: NicaraguanFlavor Notes: Creamy cedar, gorgonzola funk, oak, dried apricot, minerals, white pepper, buttered popcorn, toasted bread, cinnamon, vanilla creamPairing Notes: Buttered popcorn, lowland Scotch, cream soda, vanilla ice cream, white chocolate, light roast coffee, low-proof Jack Daniels, Belgian beers (prior to smoking), cinnamon dessertsManufacturer: Montenegro Cigars (Nicaragua) Privada Storytelling Cigars often serve as vessels of memory and imagination, and the Montenegro Batista Aged 10+ Years is a perfect example of this duality. The name itself carries weight—an allusion to Fulgencio Batista, who fled Cuba on the last day of 1958 as Castro’s revolution swept Havana. But this cigar is not about politics. It is about a what-if. What if Batista had remained? What if Havana had continued as the Las Vegas of the Caribbean, fueled by casinos, mob money, and neon-lit decadence? The band design, created under Privada’s art direction with @sedatedhype, imagines this alternate world—a vintage Cuban band style reworked in casino neon, bridging tradition and fantasy. For a cigar with this story, we needed a blend that felt timeless, refined, and bold. Montenegro delivered. Known for decadent, ultra-traditional cigars crafted without compromise, this Nicaraguan puro aged over 10 years smokes like an heirloom. It’s Cuban in spirit, Nicaraguan in execution, and Privada in imagination. Flavor Journey First Third: Opens creamy and elegant, with oak, cedar, salt, dried apricot, and white pepper. A faint gorgonzola funk adds intrigue, with minerals and dried herbs weaving through. Retrohale is creamy cedar and faint florals. Second Third: Becomes richer and glossier, with florals, buttered popcorn, toasted bread, charred cedar, and cinnamon. Salt lingers on the tongue while the retrohale blooms with florals and white pepper. Dried fruit sweetness balances the savoriness. Final Third: Intensifies with cedar, cinnamon, browned toast, whipped vanilla cream, and faint fruity zing. Cream, salt, and cedar define the finish, while the retrohale closes with smoke, white pepper, and lingering complexity. Why It Belongs in Privada This cigar is history, imagination, and craft rolled into one. It belongs in Privada because it challenges us to think differently—not only about tobacco but about time, culture, and what could have been. By securing a cigar like this from Montenegro, a brand synonymous with decadence and uncompromising quality, Privada gives members the rare chance to taste tradition through the lens of storytelling and speculation.

El Diablo Del Desierto Aged 4+ Years Size: 6×52 Toro (format inferred from release style)Vitola: ToroWrapper: Mexican HabanoBinder: UndisclosedFillers: UndisclosedFlavor Notes: Black pepper, cedar, dried apple, vanilla, cola syrup, candied nuts, cinnamon, butterscotch, caramel, Red Hot candy, mild curry spicePairing Notes: Butterscotch, Coca-Cola, bourbon, rye whiskey, vanilla coffee, orange oolong tea, ginger candy, apple pie, apple pie moonshine, ales, dried fruits, whipped cream, sushi, Thai foodManufacturer: Purple Sky (Mexico) Privada Storytelling Some cigars come from polished factories with generations of prestige behind them. Others come from the underground—raw, unpredictable, and somehow all the more alluring. El Diablo Del Desierto, created by Purple Sky Cigars, falls firmly into the latter. Purple Sky was formed by three unlikely cigar makers: Hector, once an ex-dealer turned spiritual seeker; Tommy, an ex-addict with frenetic energy; and Paul, a jokester with warmth and wit. Together, they turned their chaotic pasts into a mysterious brand inspired by Breaking Bad. Their mascot—El Diablo—is a figure spotted on murals and whispered about in the Southwest, always with an air of myth. When I first heard about this cigar, I expected a San Andrés wrapper (Mexico’s classic export). But instead, I was floored: a Mexican Habano wrapper, something I had never encountered. What followed was a smoke unlike any other—strange, complex, unforgettable. Delivered by hand from Mexico (in exchange for Bitcoin, no less), this release is shrouded in myth and mystery. Yet the truth is undeniable: it’s a masterpiece that shouldn’t exist, and it may never be made again. Flavor Journey First Third: Opens with black pepper, cedar, dried apple chips, vanilla, and leather, wrapped in cola syrup sweetness. Retrohale explodes with baked cinnamon and warm apple pie notes. A strange yet delicious sweetness lingers, like whipped meringue or sugar cane. Second Third: Heavy cedar dominates with dried fig, candied almond, and simple syrup. Vanilla runs through it, balanced by buttered bread and charred wood. Retrohale delivers candied ginger, cola, and spice. Final Third: Intensifies into butterscotch, caramel, Red Hot candy, cumin, curry-like spice, turmeric, and charred cedar. Musty leather and woody undertones frame the finish, leaving a savory, sweet, and fiery crescendo. Why It Belongs in Privada El Diablo Del Desierto belongs in Privada because it represents the very edge of cigar exploration—something so rare, so unique, it may never be recreated. From its mysterious origins to its one-of-a-kind Mexican Habano wrapper, this cigar defies expectation. Privada exists to bring you the impossible, and this cigar is living proof that sometimes the best blends come from the most unlikely hands.

Espinosa Cigars Hialeah Gardens Limited Edition Aged 4+ Years Size: 6×52 ToroVitola: ToroWrapper: Undisclosed (Espinosa LE Selection)Binder: UndisclosedFillers: NicaraguanFlavor Notes: Bourbon oak, barnyard funk, ripe tobacco, maple syrup, milk chocolate, red pepper, toast, wheat, citrus “Sprite” zing, Fruit Loops, graham cracker, fennel, honeysuckle, vanilla, saltPairing Notes: Hershey’s chocolate kisses, butterscotch, cinnamon crumb cake, Fruit Loops, graham crackers, red wine, cognac, bourbon, scotch (non-smoky), Werther’s Originals, root beer, espresso with sugarManufacturer: Espinosa Cigars (La Zona Factory, Estelí Nicaragua) Privada Storytelling The Espinosa Hialeah Gardens Limited Edition is more than just a cigar—it’s a recognition of the truth. For years, we’ve seen cigar names tied to Havana, Cuba, and old-world romanticism. But the reality is different. In modern America, the heart of the cigar trade flows through Hialeah, Hialeah Gardens, and Doral, Florida. If you’ve ever ordered cigars, chances are they’ve passed through this Cuban-American enclave before they reached your hands. When Privada’s Brian posed the question to Erik Espinosa—“Why doesn’t anyone call their cigar the Hialeah?”—Erik laughed. Then he rolled up his sleeves and did it. This blend is a love letter to the area that represents the modern cigar epicenter, where the Cuban spirit thrives outside Havana, built on grit, family, and tradition. Espinosa himself embodies the story: a tough, stout Cuban from the streets who turned passion and hard work into a multi-million-dollar cigar empire. The Hialeah Gardens LE is not just about heritage—it’s about truth becoming tradition. And this cigar, aged 4+ years, delivers that truth in every puff. Flavor Journey First Third: Opens with deep oak, red pepper, toast, wheat, and a citrus zing (“Sprite”). Smoke is creamy, retrohale blasts black pepper, and phantom Fruit Loops cereal sweetness appears. Notes of leather, cereal grain, and maple syrup richness add depth. Second Third: Evolves with tobacco richness, leather, fruity zing, oak, graham cracker, and fennel spice. Creaminess ties it together, balancing sweet, tart, and savory. Retrohale remains peppery with a clean cereal finish. Final Third: Closes with honeysuckle, toast, dank oak, vanilla, and salt. Pepper fades to a salty zing, while wheat and florals create a creamy, clean finish. Balanced and elegant, it feels like a culmination of aged, harmonized tobaccos. Why It Belongs in Privada This cigar belongs in Privada because it tells a story of modern cigar reality. While Cuba gets all the romance, Hialeah Gardens is the true lifeblood of today’s cigar industry. This limited edition is a nod to that, crafted by one of Miami’s own, Erik Espinosa. It’s rare, aged, and bold enough to carry the name of the city where the cigar world truly converges.

Crux Epicure Lonsdale Privada Aged 5+ Years Size: 6½×44 LonsdaleVitola: LonsdaleWrapper: Ecuadorian Connecticut ShadeBinder: NicaraguanFillers: NicaraguanFlavor Notes: Floral, honey, vanilla, confectioner’s sugar, cinnamon toast, sandalwood, incense, citrus, green tea, black pepperPairing Notes: Light roasted coffee with cream and sugar, powdered donut, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, dried berries, honey, wheat bourbon, wheat beer, cream soda, whipped creamManufacturer: Crux Cigars (Plasencia Factory, Nicaragua) Privada Storytelling When Crux Epicure first arrived in Privada boxes years ago in a Salomon shape, it made waves. Top 10, top 25, critical acclaim across the board. But beyond the accolades, it was the kind of cigar that shifted how we think of Connecticut Shade. This wasn’t your grandfather’s mild, grassy smoke—it was a modern Connecticut, rich, flavorful, and complex, dressed in one of the most flawless and expensive Ecuadorian wrappers money can buy. This Privada-exclusive Lonsdale, aged over 5 years, is something even rarer. Rolled at the legendary Plasencia family factory, it takes the already-classic Epicure blend and elevates it with age and refinement. The size itself tells a story—Lonsdale is a format built for connoisseurs, offering clarity and precision in every draw. Crux, founded by a Minneapolis tobacconist and his partner, has quickly established itself as one of the most exciting new-world brands. This release proves it. It’s a Privada-only expression of a cigar that was already destined for greatness, now ripened into perfection. Flavor Journey First Third: Opens with barnyard, oats, hay, and cooling floral notes. Retrohale is a blast of black pepper, balanced by honey, apple wood, vanilla, and sugar. The body is strong yet creamy, finishing salty with rising floral sweetness. Second Third: Evolves into confectioner’s sugar, cinnamon, toast, vanilla, citrus, and white pepper. Brings to mind Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, layered over cedar wood and wheat-like brightness. Final Third: Transitions into sandalwood, incense, powdered sugar, vanilla, charred wood, and herbal green tea. Black pepper returns softly, closing the experience with depth and balance. Why It Belongs in Privada The Crux Epicure Lonsdale Privada Aged 5+ Years belongs in Privada because it embodies everything the club stands for: exclusivity, evolution, and education. This isn’t just a cigar—it’s a living document of how age transforms a modern Connecticut into something extraordinary. Available only through Privada, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime chance to taste a Connecticut Shade done the right way, aged to perfection, and sized for the true aficionado.

Where the Habano version of Joint Service brings fire and boldness, this Connecticut-wrapped expression delivers restraint, balance, and refined sweetness. With over 3 years of cedar aging, the once-crisp edges have mellowed into a creamy, honeyed experience that highlights the delicate power of a well-aged Connecticut Shade wrapper. This cigar feels like early mornings on a quiet porch or soft evenings with a glass of wine—gentle, inviting, and endlessly enjoyable. It’s proof that mild doesn’t mean boring; it means precision, time, and patience. BANG!—a warning shot to the senses. Kristoff Cigars is known for crafting full-bodied, unapologetic blends, but when Privada steps in, the results often push beyond what’s thought possible. The Pistoff Kristoff Gunplay is exactly that: a Lancero exclusive made for Privada members only, a bold experiment that went from a near-miss to a masterpiece. When this blend first landed, it was rough—fiery, unbalanced, even disappointing. We nearly wrote it off. But Privada’s patience is its secret weapon. After nearly a year of resting and proper aging, the Gunplay reemerged as something spectacular. What was once sharp became savory, sweet, and complex—a profile unlike any Kristoff before it. Named Gunplay for its risky move into a lancero format (Kristoff even warned it could be “dangerous”), this cigar has become one of the most unforgettable Privada exclusives to date. It doesn’t whisper its flavors; it kicks down the door with spice, sweetness, and umami. Flavor Journey First Third: Opens with dark toasted bread, minerals, dried figs, prunes, and red currant, balanced by red pepper and salt. A musty sweetness begins to layer in as the bread note anchors the foundation. Second Third: Things get wild—black cherry soda, teriyaki beef jerky, maple wood, and floral powdery smoke. The sensation is sweet, savory, and spicy, like the perfect bite of Chinese orange chicken fresh from the wok. Final Third: A crescendo of soy sauce, black cherry, orange zest, fried batter, red pepper oil, and charred wood, finishing with an earthy clay note. The spice lingers long after the last puff, demanding reflection on what you just smoked. Why It Belongs in Privada This cigar proves the Privada philosophy: sometimes greatness just needs time. What began as a rough, almost unsmokeable cigar became, after patient aging, a spicy, savory, sweet revelation. Kristoff’s boldest blend in a daring vitola, exclusive to Privada, transformed into what may be one of the most unique cigars of the year. This is what we live for—the magic of aging, the thrill of risk, and the satisfaction of discovery.

Sinistro Plata y Plomo Size: LanceroVitola: LanceroWrapper: Connecticut ShadeBinder: Dominican RepublicFillers: Dominican (including Andullo tobacco)Flavor Notes: Oak, cedar, red pepper, sourdough toast, leather, cinnamon, yeast, dark cola, black cherry syrup, honey, jasmine florals, marshmallow phantom sweetness, lime, cereal grainsPairing Notes: Bourbon, Jack Daniels, cognac, amber lagers, Belgian beers, pies, pastries, coffee with cream and sugar, Lindt truffles, vanilla chocolate, after sushi with wasabiManufacturer: La Aurora (for Sinistro Cigars) Privada Storytelling The phrase Plata y Plomo—silver or lead—was made infamous by Pablo Escobar. Either you took the money, or you took the bullets. Sinistro Cigars leaned into this duality when creating Plata y Plomo, a cigar that walks the line between elegance and danger. The band itself is a masterpiece: one half adorned with peace, coins, and sunlight, the other with bullets, fire, and war. It’s not just a cigar—it’s a declaration. Blended at the legendary La Aurora factory in the Dominican Republic, this cigar draws from one of the oldest and most labor-intensive tobacco traditions in the world: Andullo. Wrapped in banana leaves and fermented for months, Andullo tobacco adds a richness and depth that can’t be found elsewhere. James of Sinistro spent four months perfecting this blend, layering Connecticut Shade’s smooth elegance with the bold, earthy power of Andullo. The result is a cigar that feels both refined and dangerous, like sipping cognac with one hand and rolling dice with the other. Flavor Journey First Third: Opens with oak, cedar, red pepper, sourdough toast, yeast, and cinnamon, creating a savory, full-flavored profile. A touch of leather lingers while the retrohale carries spice and cereal grains. Second Third: Expands into cedar, dark cola, black cherry syrup, minerals, and salt. At times the cedar shifts to oak, and a curious marshmallow-like sweetness appears, balancing the intensity with unexpected softness. Final Third: Finishes with jasmine florals, honey, syrupy sweetness, corn, hay, and cinnamon, before revealing an intriguing lime and black walnut nuance. Bold yet elegant, it closes with power and grace. Why It Belongs in Privada Plata y Plomo embodies everything Privada stands for: heritage, risk-taking, and bold storytelling. This cigar could only exist because of Privada’s pursuit of the rare and unique. Andullo tobacco is rarely seen in premium cigars—it’s too costly, too time-consuming, too unconventional. But Sinistro and La Aurora brought it to life here, and with years of controlled aging, it’s matured into something unforgettable. This is a Privada-only creation, a cigar you will not find anywhere else, and a perfect example of how deep we go to bring you experiences beyond the mainstream.

Blanco No. 9 Aged 3+ Years Size: 6×52 ToroVitola: ToroWrapper: Nicaraguan Habano OscuroBinder: NicaraguanFillers: Nicaraguan long-fillersFlavor Notes: Licorice, charred oak, vanilla, white pepper, sandalwood, geranium florals, cane sugar, cinnamon, graham cracker, cream, faint margarine finishPairing Notes: Vanilla soda, red wine, rye whiskey, amber beers, rum and coke, white chocolate, graham cracker pie crust desserts, fried chicken, Privada At Home mixed drinkManufacturer: Blanco Cigars (Nicaragua, with Plasencia tobacco access) Privada Storytelling David Blanco is one of those figures in the cigar world who often flies under the radar, but his story is steeped in lineage and legacy. As the nephew of the Plasencia family, David has access to some of the most celebrated tobacco on Earth. Few realize that behind his humble demeanor lies the weight of an empire of leaf—tobaccos grown across continents, aged with patience, and blended with the precision of generations. When David approached Privada with a dozen experimental blends, it was like stepping into a vault of possibilities. After smoking through them live, the #5 and #9 stood out. Both extraordinary, both unique, yet each pulling in its own direction. The #9, with its smokier, bolder “cowboy” profile, demanded a platform. And here it is, aged three years, refined, and ready to show you what it’s made of. This isn’t just a cigar—it’s a dialogue between tradition and innovation, between family heritage and a blender forging his own path. Flavor Journey First Third: Opens with licorice, charred oak, vanilla, white pepper, sandalwood, and florals, carried on a creamy, mineral-laced smoke. Salt and sweetness mingle, creating an earthy yet polished start. Second Third: Deepens with sandalwood, licorice root, cane sugar, and cinnamon, while hints of graham cracker creep in for a dessert-like texture. The balance is impeccable—creamy puffs tied together with white pepper and a soft floral thread. Final Third: Transitions into sandalwood, cream, cinnamon, faint florals, and simple syrup, before finishing with an unexpected note reminiscent of margarine. The end is both savory and sweet, leaving the palate satisfied but curious for more. Why It Belongs in Privada The Blanco No. 9 is a shining example of what Privada does best: pulling hidden gems out of obscurity and aging them to peak perfection. Without Privada, this blend may have never reached the audience it deserved. The extra years of controlled aging give it complexity and smoothness unmatched in the market. This cigar is more than just smoke—it’s proof of what happens when you combine Privada’s patience with a blender’s artistry.

The Vince By Black Bird Cigars Aged 7+ Years Size: 6×48 Corona Gorda (Box Pressed, Pigtail Foot)Vitola: Corona GordaWrapper: Mexican San AndrésBinder: DominicanFillers: Nicaraguan & DominicanFlavor Notes: Dried peach, apricot, saddle leather, raspberry Snapple, black coffee, dark roast, cedar, black pepper, vanilla, salted peanuts, charcoal, blueberry, popcorn, herbs, rosemary, dark bread, floral lavenderPairing Notes: Café latte, cinnamon latte, chocolate mousse, Nutella, chocolate cupcakes with cream filling, porter or stout beer, red wines, steak, milk chocolateManufacturer: Black Bird Cigar Co. (Dominican Republic) Privada Storytelling When Paul Newman and Tom Cruise hit the big screen together in The Color of Money, one embodied classic cool while the other embodied flash and flair. Privada captured that dynamic with cigars. First came Fast Eddie—smooth, timeless, steady. Now comes The Vince, its counterpart with swagger, showmanship, and just a little more edge. This 7+ year aged creation is more than just a cigar; it’s a statement piece. The box-pressed Corona Gorda with a rare pigtail foot looks like it belongs in the hand of someone who doesn’t just enter the room but commands it. Like Vince himself, it demands attention, carrying the kind of presence that turns heads in the lounge. Crafted at Black Bird Cigar Co. by Jonas and the Horse, this blend builds upon the legacy of Fast Eddie while turning up the volume. Aged to perfection, it delivers maturity and finesse alongside boldness and charm. Flavor Journey First Third: Bursts of dried peach, apricot, raspberry Snapple, black coffee, dark roast, and black pepper, with cedar and leather forming the backbone. Vanilla and faint berry notes linger, joined by a powdery, salty smoke texture that coats the palate. Second Third: Flavors deepen into vanilla, leather, black coffee, cedar, salted peanuts, and charcoal, with blueberries flickering in and out. Phantom notes of buttered popcorn appear, while the retrohale sharpens with black pepper. Final Third: Rich dark bread, salt, rosemary, herbs, and dried lavender emerge, blending beautifully with peanuts, charcoal, and creamy black coffee. Vanilla threads through to the finish, leaving a smoky, floral, and savory finale. Why It Belongs in Privada This cigar is Privada storytelling in physical form—taking a movie, its characters, and their contrasting energies, then capturing that essence in tobacco. The Vince is playful yet serious, bold yet refined, and unforgettable in its aged complexity. For Privada members, this is more than a cigar; it’s a cinematic moment preserved in leaf. Just like its namesake, it leaves an impression that lingers long after it’s gone.

Fake Cubans #190 Size: 54x170, 54x184, 50x190Wrapper: Ecuadorian HabanoBinder: Nicaraguan Criollo ’98Fillers: Nicaraguan and DominicanFlavor Notes: Roasted coffee, sweet cedar, cocoa powder, baking spice, black pepper, caramelized sugar, leather, almondPairing Notes: Cuban-style espresso, aged rum, bourbon, chocolate biscotti, café con leche, spiced colaManufacturer: Privada Cigar Club Exclusive; small-batch production designed to evoke the essence of old-world Cuban flavor with modern boutique precision Privada Storytelling Fake Cubans are Privada’s playful yet masterful nod to the masterful cigar counterfeiters of the world. This cigar doesn’t try to be Cuba. The  magic of this profile—creamy cedar, balanced spice, and velvety sweetness—are what makes the Fake Cubans so believable when they are dressed up in counterfeit band and boxes and sold for astronomical prices in Europe and China. The name, Fake Cuban, means eaxactly what it states. This isi what they pass off for Cuban cigars in high end packaging. How do we know? We will leave that to be told.  Flavor Journey The first third opens with roasted coffee, cedar, and a gentle wave of black pepper. The second third introduces cocoa powder, almond, and caramelized sugar, balanced by warm baking spices. The final third deepens into leather, cedar, and sweet espresso, leaving a smooth and lingering finish. Why It Belongs in Privada Because Fake Cuban #190 is everything Privada stands for—creative, rare, and designed to deliver an experience that goes beyond the ordinary. It’s a boutique cigar inspired by tradition but free from constraints, a unique addition that Privada members will recognize as both nostalgic and innovative.

Pier 28 Maduro Rabito Box-Pressed PCC Exclusive Aged 6+ Years Size: 6 1/2×46Vitola: Rabito Box-PressedWrapper: Mexican San Andrés MaduroBinder: NicaraguanFillers: Nicaraguan (Estelí & Jalapa)Flavor Notes: Cocoa, espresso, earth, toasted wood, black pepper, dark fruit sweetness, and a lingering minerality with creamy smokePairing Notes: Espresso with raw sugar, Mexican hot chocolate, rye whiskey, spiced rum, chocolate stout, mole sauce, churros with cinnamon sugar, caramel flanManufacturer: Espinosa Cigars (La Zona Factory, Nicaragua) Privada Storytelling Tim Wong is a name you don’t hear often outside the West Coast cigar scene, but for those who know him, he represents passion, perseverance, and authenticity. A California sales rep who dreamed of creating his own cigar brand, Wong teamed up with Erik Espinosa to launch Pier 28—a nod to San Francisco’s iconic waterfront. While Pier 28 has grown into a cult favorite in California, it has remained largely a secret to the rest of the cigar world. This cigar, however, changes everything. The Pier 28 Maduro Rabito Box-Pressed was created exclusively for Privada Cigar Club and then aged for more than six years, transforming into a luxurious and rare smoking experience. Wrapped in a dark, toothy Mexican San Andrés leaf, this Rabito-size vitola combines old-world craftsmanship with the bold spirit of California’s underground cigar culture. It’s a cigar born of dreamers and doers—a reminder that sometimes the greatest treasures remain hidden until Privada brings them to light. Flavor Journey First Third: Cocoa and espresso coat the palate, balanced by earthy minerals and toasted wood. A touch of black pepper energizes the retrohale. Second Third: The cigar develops a sweet complexity—dark fruit notes like raisin and fig blend with cedar, earth, and creamy smoke. A subtle mineral edge adds structure. Final Third: The profile darkens with espresso, cocoa, charred oak, and a peppery-sweet finish. Hints of molasses and chocolate linger as the cigar closes with balance and finesse. Why It Belongs in Privada This release is more than a cigar—it’s a story of persistence and a Privada-exclusive discovery. Tim Wong’s dream could have remained a regional secret, but through Privada’s relentless mission to uncover hidden gems, the Pier 28 Maduro has found its way into the hands of the most discerning collectors. Six years of Privada-controlled aging only heightens its uniqueness, turning this boutique rarity into a smoke you simply can’t find anywhere else.

CLE / Eiroa 2013 Aged 12+ Years Size: 5×50 Robusto, 6×52 Toro (varies)Vitola: Robusto / ToroWrapper: Honduran Corojo (original Cuban seed)Binder: Honduran CorojoFillers: Honduran CorojoFlavor Notes: Buttery umami, cedar, orange blossom honey, dried apricot, black pepper, musty woods, vanilla, clove, menthol, warm apple pie, peated smoke, marine-like freshnessPairing Notes: Black tea, chai tea, bourbon, Highland scotch, cognac, Belgian tripel, sake, peanut butter desserts, Reese’s, roasted nuts, Thai food, birthday cake, light roast coffeeManufacturer: CLE Cigar Company (Eiroa Family, Honduras) Privada Storytelling The year was 2013. The Eiroa family—legendary stewards of authentic Cuban-seed Corojo outside of Cuba—were finally free to return to the cigar industry after the sale of Camacho to Davidoff in 2008. With the non-compete behind them, Christian Eiroa and family opened the Alladino factory, and among the very first blends they rolled was this cigar. But fate intervened. Legal complications sidelined the project, leaving thousands of boxes to rest quietly in Honduras, sealed in cedar-lined rooms. Now, more than a decade later, you hold one of the rarest time capsules in your hand: the CLE / Eiroa 2013. This is more than a cigar; it is a relic of rebirth, a tangible piece of history that survived long enough to reveal what true patience can do to tobacco. Twelve years of controlled aging has transformed its Corojo leaves into something elegant, ethereal, and nearly impossible to replicate today. For Privada members, it’s another example of how the vaults of the industry are unlocked, one treasure at a time. Flavor Journey First Third: Buttery umami notes open alongside cedar, dried pear, orange blossom honey, and black pepper. Aged wood and earth introduce themselves with a Davidoff-like refinement. Second Third: Vanilla, cinnamon, and florals emerge, joined by a menthol-like cooling sensation. The retrohale is floral and spicy, with fleeting touches of clove and honey sweetness. Final Third: Complexity deepens with warm apple pie, spice wood, and smoky peat reminiscent of Islay scotch. A marine-like freshness lingers on the finish, blending with cinnamon, vanilla, and cedar for an unforgettable close. Why It Belongs in Privada This cigar isn’t just aged—it’s preserved history. The original 2013 CLE / Eiroa blend was meant to relaunch the family legacy but instead became a silent witness to time itself. With over a decade of rest, it now offers Privada members an experience that simply doesn’t exist on the open market. It’s living proof of the original Cuban-seed Corojo’s power, aged far beyond industry norms, and released exclusively for those who demand the rarest finds.

That’s the spirit captured in Uncle Paulie’s Deli Robusto—a cigar built for mornings, brunches, and mid-day indulgences. Blended by none other than Jochy Blanco at Tabacalera Palma, this project was a marriage of culture and craft, where cigar tradition meets deli nostalgia. Nicknamed “The Good Morning Robusto,” this cigar was made to become the first stick of the day, the one you light while the world is just waking up. A robust yet elegant companion to coffee, tea, or even a buttery croissant, it’s a Connecticut shade that rewrites the book. No bitterness, no bite—just refined Dominican craftsmanship delivered with the kind of balance usually reserved for Cuba’s finest. It’s not just a cigar; it’s a breakfast ritual turned into smoke. Flavor Journey First Third: Opens with honey nut Cheerios, amaretto, and apricot tea, balanced with roasted nuts, sweet cream, and a whisper of white pepper. Smooth, buttery smoke with zero Connecticut harshness. Second Third: Florals step forward, mingling with croissant and a citrusy Sprite-like sparkle. The oats remain, layering depth alongside sweet cream and a buttery mouthfeel. Complexity deepens with each puff. Final Third: Warms into almonds, buttered toast, and chai-like spice. Lemongrass citrus and florals carry through, with the creamy finish leaving the impression of an elegant Cuban. Why It Belongs in Privada Because cigars aren’t just for the evening. Privada believes in elevating every part of the day, and Uncle Paulie’s Deli Robusto proves mornings can be as luxurious as nights. It’s a reminder that cigar culture isn’t bound by time but by experience. From Jochy Blanco’s hands to your morning table, this is the kind of cigar that expands what we think a Connecticut shade can do—and it belongs here because Privada members demand more than tradition, they demand transformation.

Kristoff Privada Cigar Club Exclusive Lancero 2019 AKA The 50 Shades Aged 4+ Years Size: 7 1/2×40Vitola: LanceroWrapper: Connecticut BroadleafBinder: UndisclosedFillers: Undisclosed (Dominican/Nicaraguan origin likely)Flavor Notes: White and red pepper, bread, florals, cocoa bean, chocolate bread, fennel, celery salt, caramelized sugar, salted peanuts, tart lime zest, oak, corn chips, vanilla soda, dried fruitsPairing Notes: Coca-Cola, Dr. Pepper, root beer, lager, pilsner, bourbon, Speyside Scotch (Glenlivet 12 or 18), iced coffee with cream, flan, ice cream sundaes, peanut butter desserts, raisins, dates, mild cheeses, blueberries and blueberry cheeseManufacturer: Kristoff Cigars Privada Storytelling Back in 2019, Broadleaf was scarce, expensive, and elusive for smaller boutique brands. Everyone was talking about how few could afford to use it—so naturally, Privada stepped up and demanded it. Partnering with Kristoff, a brand already admired for its rustic authenticity and bold blends, we asked them for two things: Broadleaf and a lancero. The result was this stunning exclusive, a cigar affectionately nicknamed “The 50 Shades” for its dynamic range and complex interplay of flavors. This wasn’t just another collab—it was a mission to create a finisher cigar, a smoke designed to end the night with power, structure, and unforgettable flavor. Aged for over four years now, it has reached a maturity that balances the raw intensity of Broadleaf with finesse. It’s bread-heavy, spice-driven, and layered with a finish as long as a great wine. If the first Kristoff Privada collab proved the partnership worked, this lancero cemented it. And now, with age, it has become something entirely its own. Flavor Journey First Third: A blast of white pepper erupts before mellowing into red pepper, bread crust, florals, cocoa bean, and herbal notes like dried fennel and parsley. Smoke is creamy but leaves a dry, tannic finish. Second Third: Charred cedar and charcoal arrive alongside chocolate bread, celery salt, and roasted fennel. Vanilla Dr. Pepper sweetness appears with salted peanuts on the retrohale. Bread fades slightly as florals intensify. Final Third: Sweet-tart balance defines the finale—lime zest, caramelized sugar, charred oak, salted nuts, chocolate bread, dried fruits, and a subtle vinegar zing. Finishes dry, tannic, and commanding, with lingering pepper and florals. Why It Belongs in Privada Because Privada takes risks. At a time when Broadleaf was becoming a luxury out of reach for smaller brands, we made it happen. Because Privada believes in the artistry of lancero vitolas, even when the mainstream ignores them. And because Privada cigars are meant to finish the night strong, giving members access to blends designed to showcase everything the leaf can offer. This lancero isn’t just a cigar—it’s proof of how influence, persistence, and passion bring impossible projects to life.
