On light up this surprises me with a hit of dark roast coffee quickly followed by black pepper. Once the pepper mellows out I’m left with a bitter oakiness and burnt almond on my palate
10 minutes in and the smoke has become creamy. A cedar and cream has entered the mix.
The 2nd third begins with a blast of coconut. I’m still getting lots of cedar and cream. The pepper has completely disappeared. The finish is sweet on the back of my tongue.
I start to pick up raison and butter, it reminds me of a buttered fruit loaf.
The final third hangs on to the coconut and cedar notes.
