Privada Storytelling
If Redemption was the light, Damnation is the shadow. El Titán de Bronze and Privada Cigar Club created Redemption to welcome every smoker into a balanced, approachable journey. Damnation, however, was born for those who dare to step deeper. Rolled in Miami’s Calle Ocho under the guidance of Sandy Cobas, Damnation is the unholy twin — darker, richer, and bolder. The name alone stirs a sense of forbidden indulgence, a temptation to embrace power and surrender to the fire. This isn’t just another boutique cigar; it’s a legacy project, a salute to the bond between Privada and El Titán that has pushed boutique culture to the edge of its limits.
Flavor Journey
From the first draw, Damnation asserts itself with bold waves of figs and bittersweet chocolate. As the smoke builds, leather and earth coat the palate, deepened by a peppery edge from the Criollo ligero. In the midsection, the cigar rounds out with a rich creaminess, as the Brazilian Arapiraca wrapper unveils molasses-like sweetness against Estelí’s signature strength. The final third is a storm of leather, dark spice, and espresso, leaving a lingering finish that’s as haunting as it is satisfying.
Why It Belongs in Privada
Damnation embodies the Privada philosophy — pairing heritage with risk, honoring tradition while creating something daring and unforgettable. It’s born in one of the most respected U.S. factories, where every cigar is rolled by hand with passion and purpose. The partnership between Privada and El Titán de Bronze has always produced memorable cigars, but Damnation takes it a step further: a declaration that boutique culture is meant to push boundaries, even if it means dancing in the dark.
