Privada Storytelling
“Let Them Eat Cake” is not just a cigar release — it’s a celebration of decadence, craftsmanship, and the unexpected. Created by Halifax’s artisan Paul Stulac, this one-time LCA release uses a rare stalk-cut Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and fillers.
After stepping back in the mid-2010s, Paul Stulac returned to blending with renewed passion in 2019 under the Privada Cigar Club banner. With “Let Them Eat Cake,” his style blossoms once more in a cigar that trades power for richness, indulgent flavor, and a dessert-like profile. Every puff is meant to satisfy the sweet tooth, reward the palate, and remind you why some cigars are made for moments, not occasions.
Flavor Journey
From the moment you light it, “Let Them Eat Cake” delivers a wave of creamy sweetness and chocolate, anchored by leather and espresso tones. The mid-smoke builds in complexity, where spicy undertones balance the dessert-like richness. In the final third, the flavor lingers with cocoa and cream, rounding out in a finish that feels like the last bite of something luxurious yet indulgently familiar.
Why It Belongs in Privada
Privada exists to uncover cigars that tell stories — of heritage, artistry, and rare material. This cigar checks all those boxes. With its limited production, unique wrapper, and Paul Stulac’s return to form, “Let Them Eat Cake” is more than just a smoke; it’s a statement. It belongs because it reminds us that luxury in cigars doesn’t always shout — sometimes it seduces.
