Privada Storytelling
The Long-Awaited Evolution of Liga
H99 was Drew Estate’s first new regular-production Liga Privada blend since 2009. It was worth the wait. This cigar features a hybrid Corojo wrapper grown in the Connecticut River Valley using seeds developed specifically for Drew Estate. The result is something both classic and entirely new.
The blend features a deep and oily San Andrés binder, while the long fillers combine power from Nicaragua, balance from Honduras, and a unique Pennsylvania ligero that adds sweetness and punch. This is a blend of innovation rooted in tradition.
Smoke it slow. Let it evolve. It was built to deliver a full-bodied experience with balance and depth.
Flavor Journey
The first third opens with rich espresso, earth, and bold pepper
The second third delivers roasted nuts, cocoa powder, and leather
The final third ties everything together with malt, wood, and clean tobacco sweetness
Draw is firm and full. Construction is precise. Smoke production is dense, oily, and deeply aromatic.
Why It Belongs in Privada
H99 is not just another Liga. It is a demonstration of what happens when passion and precision meet experimentation. This cigar exists because someone decided that just being great wasn’t enough. It had to be different. It had to evolve. That mindset is what Privada is all about.
