Privada Storytelling
In 2019, a wealthy French collector living in Dubai discovered Privada Cigar Club and reached out with a private collection unlike anything we had encountered.
His preference was not for famous labels or modern releases. He searched for obscure Old World tobaccos, forgotten factories, and cigars capable of surviving years of post-production aging. Through a private supplier, he quietly sourced small productions from boutique factories across several countries. Every cigar was aged for a minimum of three years before reaching his warehouse.
No bands. No invoices. No blend notes.
When the arrangement ended, the supplier disappeared and the project vanished with him. These cigars were never intended for retail and cannot be recreated. They were tobacco meant for one collector, built for someone who understood patience, cedar rooms, and time.
Years later, he sent Privada the remaining inventory.
There will be no second production. No replacement batch. Only what survived.
Flavor Journey
The pre-light carries fragrant cocoa, damp soil, white chocolate, raisin, and deep earthy sweetness.
The first third opens with creamy almond, orange peel, and a brioche-like richness supported by subdued floral spice. The second third becomes cleaner and more structured, bringing mild white pepper, cedar, and lingering citrus oils. The final third turns darker with espresso and chocolate, closing with an elegant, mature finish.
Why It Belongs in Privada
Because this is the type of cigar Privada was created to uncover.
Its factory, blend, and complete history may remain unknown, but the years behind it are real. This is a private collector’s cigar that was never supposed to reach the public, preserved through patience rather than marketing.
