Unknown Dominican Relic Size: 9.5 x 43Vitola: Lonsdale Extra / ProminenteWrapper: UndisclosedBinder: UndisclosedFillers: UndisclosedStrength: UndisclosedOrigin: Dominican Republic (unconfirmed)Manufacturer: Unknown Flavor Notes: UndisclosedPairing Notes: Apricot, oak, white pepper and medicinal notes Privada Storytelling Some cigars arrive with a spec sheet. Others arrive with whispers. This one came with whispers that grew teeth. For years the rumor circled — a long, slender cigar rolled in the Dominican under strange circumstances, made for a political figure who didn’t live to collect them. What became of those cigars after the story goes dark. Nobody could say for sure. About six years ago one turned up in the kind of quiet way these things do: passed between friends in a room where people listen as much as they talk. We smoked it slow, in near silence. The smoke didn’t answer every question, but it asked new ones. It tasted like memory and the room leaned in. That was enough to make a man follow a trail. I followed it through a broker, through a few phones, and finally to a house in Orlando where an old man lived among stacks of boxes and mementos — the kind of collector who keeps other people’s stories on his shelves. Years before, someone had asked him to look after a bundle of cigars for safekeeping. That friend never came back. The old man had kept them anyway. We opened what he’d kept. Inside were long, unbanded cigars — 9.5 by 43 — no boxes other than some oak looking long boxes and a chest with about 250 more, no bands, no paperwork. Just leaf and time. If the story around them is true they could be twenty-five years old. If the story is false they could be twenty-five years old anyway. The math matters less than the quiet they carried. They’d been waiting in the dark for someone curious enough to light one. I remember the first match. The room narrowed to the ash and the draw and the small surprise you get when tobacco remembers itself. There was leather and dry orange rind, a peculiar old-world cedar, a sweetness like stale pipe tobacco that somehow felt holy. You could taste a lifetime: the hands that rolled them, the workshop that rolled them, the people who hid them and the people who forgot to come back. I smoked one and shared notes. We kept some. We left others to nap again. There’s a kind of reverence that comes with these sticks — not because of provenance written in an invoice, but because a cigar like this carries a life in its veins. That’s the thing: a good cigar can be a timepiece, but a find like this is a key. It opens the past, and every puff from one of those long, unmarked sticks felt like turning in a lock. Is the story ture? I don't know but why an old man in downtown Orlando had 300 or so of the most unique sized cigars that look like the cigars from the pictures of the dictator is beyond explanation. Something felt right so I bought them. And if I get left to smoke each one myself, I'll be happy to do so.  Flavor Journey While I mostly got oak, moss, medicinal notes, white pepper and honey, the thre I have smoked so far all had a different journey.  Why It Belongs in Privada Privada exists for cigars that carry mystery and history, not just marketing. This cigar is not being sold as a brand. It is being offered as a relic. A possible artifact of Dominican cigar history with an origin story that may never be fully confirmed. Some smokers collect labels.Others collect stories. Production Notes Unbanded cigars discovered in private storage.Blend, factory, and blender remain unconfirmed.Possible age estimated around twenty five years if the historical account proves accurate.

At 6 x 60, the Toro Grande format slows the entire experience down, creating cooler smoke and allowing the Dominican core to unfold gradually. This is a cigar built around harmony rather than intensity. The Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper sets a creamy, elegant tone. Beneath it, Dominican Olor binder and Piloto Cubano filler bring structure, gentle sweetness, and refined balance. Nothing is forced. Nothing is exaggerated. It is composed from first light to final inch. This is a cigar for conversation, for music, for moments where the smoke complements rather than competes. Flavor Journey The opening delivers cream and cedar with a warm nuttiness. As it progresses, sweet hay and light vanilla emerge, supported by soft white pepper that keeps the profile lively without sharpness. The finish remains smooth and clean, leaving a lingering creamy texture and quiet refinement. Why It Belongs in Privada Because legacy matters. AVO Classic represents decades of disciplined blending and Dominican craftsmanship. It is balanced, consistent, and timeless. In a world of loud cigars, this one understands the power of composure. (San Lotano Factory, Nicaragua) Privada Storytelling The Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Nicaragua BP No. 2 is a modern reinterpretation of one of the most iconic vitolas in the Montecristo portfolio. Known for its legendary No. 2 Torpedo shape, Montecristo entrusted AJ Fernandez to craft an all-Nicaraguan tribute worthy of the anniversary name. The result is a box-pressed masterpiece that marries tradition with modern power. Draped in a rich Nicaraguan wrapper and loaded with tobaccos from Estelí, Jalapa, Condega, and Ometepe, this cigar balances raw strength with layered elegance. The tapered head intensifies the draw, sharpening every note of espresso, cocoa, and spice, making this a No. 2 unlike any before it — darker, bolder, and unapologetically Nicaraguan. Flavor Journey The first third begins with a peppery espresso blast, quickly supported by cocoa and cedar. As the burn progresses, leather and baking spice build in complexity, with a subtle molasses sweetness weaving through. Midway, the Ometepe leaf adds volcanic depth, while the tapered head focuses the smoke, sharpening the pepper and chocolate notes. The final third crescendos with spice, espresso, and earth, leaving a long, resonant finish. Why It Belongs in Privada Privada exists to showcase cigars that define eras and artisanship. (Tabacalera de García, La Romana, Dominican Republic) Privada Storytelling The Montecristo Platinum Toro represents a bold departure from the softer side of Montecristo. Known for elegance and refinement, the brand wanted a cigar that spoke with more authority — richer, darker, and more complex. Wrapped in a toothy Mexican San Andrés Cubano leaf, the Platinum is a modern classic that pushes Montecristo into fuller-bodied territory while keeping its signature smoothness intact. This Toro vitola magnifies the blend’s balance, giving smokers an hour of layered flavor and consistent burn. Platinum isn’t just a name; it’s a statement that Montecristo can be powerful without losing its sophistication. Flavor Journey The first third opens with cocoa and espresso carried on a wave of black pepper. As it develops, cedar and leather round the edges, adding structure and balance. Midway, earthiness and hints of dried fruit sweetness from the Peruvian leaf begin to show, layering complexity. The final third deepens with espresso and spice, finishing bold yet refined. Why It Belongs in Privada Privada is about cigars that redefine expectations, and Montecristo Platinum is exactly that. It proves that even the most traditional names in cigars can embrace boldness and complexity without losing their identity. This Toro belongs in Privada because it bridges the gap between heritage and modern palate — a luxury cigar that refuses to be predictable. Production Notes Crafted at Tabacalera de García in the Dominican Republic. Uses a San Andrés Cubano wrapper for richness and spice. Incorporates a unique three-country filler blend: Dominican, Nicaraguan, and Peruvian. Part of Montecristo’s more contemporary portfolio, offering fuller-bodied expressions. Work-N-Class Maduro Size: 5 3/4×54 (Robusto), 6 1/4×56 (Torpedo)Vitola: Robusto, Toro, TorpedoWrapper: MaduroBinder: NicaraguanFillers: NicaraguanFlavor Notes: Dark chocolate, espresso, cedar, black pepper, earthy minerals, sweet cream finishPairing Notes: Black coffee, spiced rum, bourbon, chocolate stout, grilled steak, molasses cookiesManufacturer: Undisclosed Estelí Factory (Nicaragua) Privada Storytelling Some cigars carry legends, others carry price tags. The Work-N-Class Maduro carries something far rarer—uncompromising quality at an everyman’s price. At just $7.50 a stick, these cigars come directly from a prestigious Estelí factory, the same one responsible for blends that normally command double or even triple the cost. Only a factory with serious pedigree and deep reserves of tobacco could deliver this level of craftsmanship under the radar. The backstory is as bold as the cigar itself: these sticks were likely slated for other premium brands, but shifting contracts and excess inventory left them orphaned. That’s when Privada stepped in, ensuring our community had first access to a cigar that smokes far above its price point. The factory’s anonymity is deliberate—they can’t risk undercutting their own brand clients. But we’ll just say this: if you’ve smoked Nicaraguan icons, you’ve smoked their handiwork. Lighting up a Work-N-Class Maduro feels like discovering a secret only insiders should know. It’s rich, it’s bold, it’s premium through and through—but without the premium markup. This is Privada flexing its muscle on behalf of the people who made the club what it is. Flavor Journey First Third: Earthy cedar and cocoa powder open the show, layered with espresso and a bold punch of black pepper. The smoke is thick and creamy, coating the palate with a sweetness that balances the spice. Second Third: Dark chocolate notes take center stage, joined by roasted nuts and a leathery undertone. The pepper mellows, while subtle mineral and earthy flavors begin to emerge. Final Third: A crescendo of charred oak, molasses, and espresso, finished with a lingering sweetness of cream and cocoa. The retrohale provides a bold spice kick, reminding you of its Nicaraguan pedigree. Why It Belongs in Privada This is Privada’s mission made manifest: delivering world-class cigars to our members that the mainstream market will never see. The Work-N-Class Maduro is a reminder that greatness doesn’t always need to wear a luxury band—it just needs to smoke like one. For the price, there is simply nothing better.

    Tampa Rollers Aged 9+ Years

Tampa Rollers Aged 9+ Years Size: 5×52Vitola: RobustoWrapper: UnknownBinder: UnknownFillers: UnknownFlavor Notes: Golden hay, charred almond, cedar, floral sweetness, white pepper, menthol, light berry, smokier woods on the finish.Pairing Notes: Coffee with sugar, white chocolate, cookies and cream ice cream, cream soda, iced tea, rum and Coke, Coca-Cola.Manufacturer: Tampa Rollers (original production, warehoused 9 years) Privada Storytelling Every so often, a cigar drifts into Privada’s orbit that feels less like a product and more like a time capsule. Tampa Rollers is exactly that. A cigar with nearly a decade of rest, sitting quietly in storage until the moment was right. A whisper from another era. The brand itself is shrouded in rumor—one of its founders is said to have been an original partner of Rocky Patel, though the truth has been lost in the shuffle of time. Attempts to track down the makers turned into dead ends, and today Tampa Rollers exists mostly as a bundle brand, rolling cigars at events and selling stock that looks nothing like what you’re holding now. What we do know: these cigars were warehoused nine years ago, tucked away by a friend of a friend, forgotten until now. What you’re smoking is a rare survivor of another age in American cigar history, with all the complexity that nearly a decade of patient rest brings. This is history in your hand—and an example of why #weareprivada exists. Flavor Journey First Third: Golden hay, charred almond, and cedar set the stage, with white pepper and florals lighting up the retrohale. There’s a richness that can only come with long rest, giving the smoke a golden, aged quality. Second Third: Cedar grows stronger, balanced by light menthol and a faint berry twang that floats in and out. The hay note remains dominant, but with more structure now, more depth. Final Third: The wood turns smoky, almost campfire-like, while the pepper lingers. The finish is dry, refined, and hauntingly elegant, leaving behind the unmistakable signature of true age. Why It Belongs in Privada Tampa Rollers is not a regular production cigar. It’s not about flashy bands, hype drops, or modern marketing. It’s a piece of lost history—an aged relic discovered and curated for the few who can appreciate it. Privada exists to bring stories like this back into the light. To remind us that behind every cigar there’s a journey, a mystery, and a moment that will never happen again.

An Argentinian cowboy with an Ivy League education, he straddles two worlds with ease: the raw, earthy life of a horseman and the refined sophistication of a global businessman. With Stallone Cigars, he brings that duality to the leaf, creating blends that are bold yet nuanced, rustic yet elegant. The Zaino Broadleaf Aged 3+ Years was born from hard-fought negotiations between Tony and Privada. At first, the deal seemed doomed—Tony wasn’t sure what Privada was about, and I wasn’t sure he understood our mission. But after stepping back, we came together, and this Broadleaf treasure finally made its way to the club. It’s paired with its sibling, the Castaño San Andres, but Zaino stands tall as a powerhouse on its own. A cigar for the bold smoker, it’s unapologetic in its strength yet balanced with a sophistication that reflects Tony himself. Flavor Journey First Third: Sweetened chocolate and raisins collide with leather, earth, and sharp red pepper. Cedar dominates the mouthfeel, transitioning into oak on the finish. Yeast, bread, wood, chocolate, and floral pepper dance across the palate. Second Third: The smoke mellows, dark and sweet like chocolate-covered cherries. Leather, wood, and black pepper persist, joined by dried peach, sugar, and cocoa. Bread and salt add depth, while the creamy texture builds. Final Third: A perfectly rounded finale—smooth, sweet, and balanced. Cocoa, berries, and bread mingle with oak and white pepper, leaving a fragrant, lingering finish that proves this cigar is a full-bodied masterpiece. Why It Belongs in Privada The Zaino Broadleaf is a cigar that almost never was. Born from tension, revived through persistence, it now stands as one of Privada’s most flavorful and complex releases. Its marriage of power and finesse mirrors the Privada ethos: pushing the industry forward while honoring the artistry behind each leaf. This is the kind of cigar that defines the Privada journey.

This time, it was Montenegro. Six months ago they presented me with two mysterious coronas—similar, yet not the same. Both shared wrapper and binder from their fabled farm, but the fillers diverged, each carrying its own story. I tried them all and knew immediately: these weren’t just cigars, they were aged treasures, biding their time in the shadows of one of the most enigmatic cigar houses in the world. Montenegro itself is wrapped in secrecy. Founded by two Persian gentlemen who once shared cigars at the Grand Havana Room nearly two decades ago, the brand’s history reads like a novel. They traveled to Cuba, hired the country’s most renowned grower, and convinced him to bring his mastery to Nicaragua. The result? A farm and factory unlike any other, producing cigars that are aged for years, hidden from the spotlight, waiting for their moment to shine. Special Sauce is one of those moments. Aged a full five years, it is a testament to time, patience, and privilege. Once reserved for billionaires and insiders, it now lands in your humidor. Flavor Journey First Third: Opens with herbal notes, graham cracker sweetness, cedar, and dried tea leaves. Apricot and ginger add a delicate fruitiness while toasted oak lays down a steady foundation. Second Third: Evolves into honey graham, vanilla, black pepper, and charred oak. Powdery smoke carries ginger and spice with a smooth, balanced creaminess. Final Third: Intensifies with red pepper, cream, tea-like florals, and a richer charred oak. A burned graham cracker sensation ties it together with savory complexity. Why It Belongs in Privada This isn’t just another boutique release—it’s Montenegro DNA. Their cigars are rare, aged, and crafted under a veil of secrecy. The Special Sauce reflects the Privada philosophy: uncovering hidden gems from the world’s most exclusive producers and sharing them with our members before anyone else. This is not just a cigar—it’s an introduction into a world few ever get to experience.

    Popeye's Reign Aged 2 Years

    Out of stock

Popeye’s Reign Aged 2 Years Size: 6×46Vitola: Corona ExtraWrapper: Nicaraguan Habano Sun GrownBinder: CondegaFillers: Jalapa, Estelí, with a touch of BrazilianFlavor Notes: Cedar, cream, oak, cinnamon, red pepper, maple syrup, leather, mochaPairing Notes: Dark roasted coffee, cinnamon-spiced bourbon, dark chocolate with red pepper, or a spinach-inspired cocktailManufacturer: Undisclosed factory, Condega, Nicaragua Privada Storytelling Popeye’s Reign is the kind of cigar that lives in whispers and legends. Crafted in a hidden factory in Condega, it embodies the tension of artistry made in the shadows—where legalities loom and passion perseveres. This cigar is a nod to the wraiths, those elusive blends that mirror iconic brands yet move carefully in the dark. The inspiration comes from Popeye himself, a cultural icon whose sailor’s laugh—ah-gahgahgahgah!—still echoes through time. In 1957, a massive Popeye balloon floated down the streets of New York in a parade, rainwater collecting on his hat and showering the crowd below. Much like that surprise moment, this cigar is about unexpected delight, about being caught in something bigger than you anticipated. Popeye’s Reign captures the same bold, rugged spirit: defiant, hearty, and unforgettable. Flavor Journey First Third: Graham cracker sweetness and chocolate mingle with cedar, cream, and oak. Cinnamon spice flickers at the edges, balanced by a retrohale of bold red pepper. Second Third: Flavors deepen into fresh-cut cedar and a touch of pine. Creamy smoke envelops the palate while maple syrup sweetness emerges, softening the spice. Final Third: Cinnamon returns in force, layered with cedar and lingering red pepper sparks. Cream, oak, and a playful sweetness round out a warm, complex finish. Why It Belongs in Privada This cigar exists because of you—the Privada movement. Without the collective force of our community, cigars like Popeye’s Reign would never leave their factory vaults. It represents defiance against industry silence, a playful nod to pop culture, and proof that Privada continues to unearth treasures that others are too afraid to release. It’s bold, it’s rare, it’s ours.

Unfiltered. Off-kilter. Sometimes polarizing, always passionate. That’s Ernesto Padilla. To sit with him is like sitting with that family member you can’t help but love, even when he ruffles your feathers. He speaks his mind, he stirs the pot, but when it comes to crafting cigars—he delivers undeniable greatness. For Catcher in the Rye, Padilla returns to the legendary Raíces Cubanas factory in Honduras, a homecoming to the very place our journey with him began. Here, among the storied halls and seasoned hands that have produced some of the most iconic blends of the last two decades, Ernesto channels his raw energy into something unforgettable. Like the book that inspired its name, this cigar is layered with complexity, rebellion, and a restless search for authenticity. Privada members now hold a true piece of Padilla’s unfiltered artistry—a cigar that resists neat categories and instead thrives on surprise. Flavor Journey First Third: Opens with floral notes and charred cedar, balanced by a honey-like sweetness. Creamy smoke blankets the palate as tart dried fruits add a tangy finish. Subtle umami appears, woven with black pepper and a peaty, smoky edge. Oak and vanilla begin to emerge. Second Third: The cigar evolves into a warm bakery—cinnamon, nutmeg, and old spice drift across the tongue. Creamy vanilla and charred oak deepen the profile, with a peach-pie-like richness carrying through each puff. Final Third: A crescendo of warm apple brandy, white pepper, cedar, and oak. Sugar and cinnamon return with faint sesame, closing the journey in a perfectly spiced, balanced finale. Why It Belongs in Privada Catcher in the Rye embodies the Privada ethos: rare, unapologetic, and unforgettable. It’s not just a cigar, it’s Padilla uncut—bold, complex, and steeped in personality. Aged to perfection, it carries the signature of both Ernesto’s artistry and the legendary Raíces Cubanas craft, making it a cornerstone of Privada exclusivity.

The name itself recalls a whimsical moment in 1956, when the iconic Mighty Mouse balloon met its ironic match against a New York street sign. The mighty laid low by the mundane—an unforgettable spectacle of fragility and humor. But beneath that story lies another: a young Chico Rivas, long before his rise as one of the Dominican Republic’s most sought-after blenders, quietly released this blend in 2015, sold only in the Dominican Republic. Few outside those borders ever experienced it. Now, after seven patient years of aging, the Mighty 54 resurfaces like a hidden track from a legendary artist’s early catalog—raw, authentic, and glowing with the promise of future greatness. Flavor Journey First Third: Opens with cedar and cream, wrapped in a delicate floral sweetness. Notes of toasted almond and cinnamon dance on the tongue, balanced with subtle earthy undertones. Second Third: Evolves into richer flavors of cocoa, oak, and spice. A creamy texture emerges, coating the palate while the retrohale delivers hints of white pepper and dried fruit. Final Third: Strength rises as leather, earth, and roasted coffee join the mix, finishing with a harmony of cedar and sweet spice that lingers long after the final draw. Why It Belongs in Privada The Mighty 54 is not just a cigar, it’s a time capsule. It embodies the discovery of Chico Rivas before his name was widely celebrated, offering members of Privada Cigar Club the rare chance to experience his work in its earliest, most unpolished brilliance. Aged for seven years, it bridges past and present, humor and craft, nostalgia and mastery.

Padrón 1926 Series No. 40 Natural Size: 6½" x 54 Vitola: Box-Pressed Torpedo Wrapper: Nicaraguan Sun-Grown Natural Binder: Nicaraguan Fillers: Nicaraguan long-fillers aged 5–10 years Strength: Full-Bodied Flavor Notes:Toasted almond, cinnamon, cream, cedar, sweet earth, black pepper, honey, roasted coffee Pairing Notes:Café con leche, oaked Chardonnay, light rum, vanilla gelato, cinnamon flan, almond biscotti Manufacturer: Tabacos Cubanica S.A. (Padrón Cigars, Estelí, Nicaragua) Privada Storytelling: A Masterpiece in Sunlight Some cigars make you stop what you’re doing and recalibrate your palate. The Padrón 1926 Series No. 40 Natural is one of them. It’s the sunlit twin to the Maduro—equally serious, equally aged, and equally unforgettable. Created in celebration of José Orlando Padrón’s 75th birthday, the No. 40 stands as a pillar of Padrón's uncompromising legacy. But where the Maduro evokes midnight richness, the Natural brings warmth, elegance, and golden balance. From the moment you hold the crisp, box-pressed torpedo in your hand, you’ll understand this isn’t just premium—it’s iconic. The Nicaraguan Sun-Grown Natural wrapper shimmers with oils aged over time, developing a honeyed hue and an aroma that hints at cedar groves and warm tobacco barns. Every component—from wrapper to filler—is grown, aged, and fermented by the Padrón family themselves. There are no brokers here. No mass-market shortcuts. These tobaccos have been resting for at least five years, some close to a decade, before they ever touch a roller’s table. Flavor Journey:The first puffs bring notes of toasted almond, warm cinnamon, and silky cream, gradually layering in cedar and sweet hay. The retrohale is where the spice shows up: black pepper and light roast coffee, but it never overpowers. Instead, it dances. As the cigar progresses, there’s a sweetness—like honeyed cashews—that comes and goes with the elegance of a waltz. Never demanding, always present. This is refinement personified. And yet, like all Padróns, it draws and burns flawlessly—straight, even, and bold without being aggressive. It’s that rare combination of power and poise that makes this cigar a fixture in top 10 lists worldwide. Why It’s Privada-Worthy At Privada, we chase stories that taste as rich as they read. The No. 40 Natural isn't just another award-winner—it’s an heirloom, a flavor journal aged in secrecy, released only when worthy. To light one is to take part in the Padrón family tradition—quiet, strong, and unshakably honest. This cigar is for those who appreciate mastery without flash, flavor without compromise, and aging without limits.
